Ryann's Party!!!

WOW! That pretty much describes Ryann's party! She, as well as the rest of us had an awesome time! I can't imagine her being able to think of one more thing that she could want!! This little girl is VERY loved and it showed. We had a house FULL of people and gifts! Ryann told us a while back that she wanted to have her party at our new house and she wanted a Barbie cake. Well we took that and ran. The house was decorated inside and out w/ everything Barbie. We had the slip and slide out for the big kids and a baby pool for the smaller ones. Then it was inside to open gifs!!!!! She loved everything she got!! Then it was time to make a wish and eat some YUMMY Barbie cake. The kids played and the rest of us sat around and visited. Ryann is so very blessed to have these wonderful people in her life!!! She will officially turn 4 on the 13th. We are going to do a bit more celebrating before she leaves to have another party with her Mommy!

Hope you all had a great day! We had a really great time celebrating the 4th. We went to the fireworks show in Southlake, and I must say; this was the BEST fireworks show I think I've ever seen. First we had dinner, and then we walked the shopping center. Got a new table for the entrance hall! Then we sat and waited for the show to start. It was great! Aiden was totally captivated. Every once in a while he would point, but most of the time he sat staring. We will defiantly make this an annual thing.

Baby girls!

We found out a while back that Uncle Chris and Aunt Adrian will be having their 3rd baby girl. Jenny and Emrick found out today that they will also be having a girl. Jenny couldn't be happier. She can't wait to have her all dolled up in pink dresses, bows and pantyhose! Chandler will be such a good big brother!

Congrats to all the soon to be parents! We can't wait to meet these little angels!!

Daddy's boy?!

Driving home from dinner tonight Aiden was yelling at me "Mommy, Mommy!!!" I said "what Aiden?" he then told me "I want Daddy!" It was so sweet. He just amazes me. He is too young to be talking so well. Where did my baby go?!

Fun times!!!

As most of you know we had Ryann home the past 2 weeks. The first week we were gone on vacation. This past week we kept the kids busy having fun! We went to a couple of play areas, to a sprinkler park, to eat at Rainforest Cafe, to Jumping Party, Mckenna's second birthday party and played on our slip and slide. We all had a really great time!

Not much new to post on Ryann. She went back to her mommy's today. She'll be coming home again in two weeks, just in time for her 4th; yep I said 4th birthday party!!!!! Hard to imagine she will be starting pre-k in the fall.

Aiden is learning new words everyday. He learned to blow a kiss today. It is the CUTEST thing. I can't believe how big our baby is!! He has 3 of his molars. They have made him a bit cranky, but we've only got one more to go; for a while any way.

Home from Vacation!

Well we're back. We had such a great time, and can't wait to go again. The kids did awesome with the long ride in the car. They were surprised with toys they had never seen before to help make the drive a bit more bearable. San Destin is BEAUTIFUL! I love white sand beaches!!! We played in the pool and at the beach. Ryann liked playing in the sand more than the water, Aiden loved them both! We ate lots of yummy food, and got to do some fun shopping too. The condo was great, 3 bed/ 3 bath. The kids LOVED that they got to see Gamma and Papa EVERY day! They also loved spending so much time with GiGi.

While we were gone both kids learned lots of new things. Aiden learned to say Papa, GiGi, cup, and he also picked up on the sign for milk. We haven't worked with him on signing like we originally intended. He picked up on this sign after seeing it just 2 or 3 times. I guess we can really begin to work on it now, we can be sure he is ready for it now. Ryann learned how to spell Aiden's name and our last name! Both only took her a short amount of time to learn. She is so amazing! Adam and I also saw her write her name all by herself for the first time! She had no help; and she did an amazing job!

Fun at Burgers Lake

We took our first family trip to Burgers Lake. It was a blast! They have sand beaches, a kiddy dive, high dive, 20ft slide and a swinging trapeze. Aiden had the most fun just throwing sand/rocks into the water. Ryann had a blast swimming in the deep waters. She would put on her "safe" suit and swim all over the place. Then she learned how fun running and jumping of the diving board was. We enjoyed a nice picnic by the lake. The kids got to eat a HUGE lolly-pop. Just before we left Ryann worked up the courage to slide down the slide. Neither of the kids were ready to leave. Ryann asked if we could go back again real soon, and Aiden was asleep after five minute in the car. Hope everyone enjoys this wonderful long weekend!!

Growing up too fast!

That is exactly what Aiden is doing. He never seizes to amaze me! Aiden will talk your ear off! He can say countless words; he understands commands that shock me. The other day he had something that belonged in my bathroom, I told him to put it on the counter; and he went and placed on the counter. He is learning so fast! When he is coloring, or "writing" he begins to spell his name. He'll take the pen in hand and say A - I. It is so cute! He also has learned to fake a sneeze. It is hilarious; he does the head nod and everything. Aiden has a wonderful sense of humor, and knows when he is entertaining. He can show you where his head, ears, nose, mouth, feet and tummy are. I asked him the other day, where are your shoes; he grabbed his feet and looked at me like I was an idiot and said "feets!" Aiden is learning the art of eating with utensils. He does a good job, but still prefers to eat with his hands. I'm sure I'm leaving out a ton, so you'll need to come for a visit so you can see/hear it all for yourself.

Not just a good Mothers' Day, but a good weekend. Adam was off Friday, so we got to hang out; something we don't really get to do much since his hours changed at work. Saturday I had a photo shoot in Dallas, then I dropped Aiden off with Gamma and Papa and Adam and I went to a wedding. We got to see some friends we haven't seen in a while. I then went to a party at Erin's house and back home. Sunday Adam let me sleep in while he took care of Aiden, and got breakfast. I got to open my gifts, a blue sapphire necklace from Aiden and a pink and white sapphire ring from Adam. I am so spoiled!!! Adam then left for some soccer games, and Aiden and I met Kay for lunch. After lunch we walked around downtown Grapevine and did a little shopping. We came home and got ready for dinner with Gamma and Papa. It was YUMMY!!! We came home and played with Aiden for a while. He has learned to climb up on Ryann's bike, so I pushed him around the yard for a while, then it was bath time. Adam took care of that while I worked on some pictures.

Everyone has good news!

Seems like everyone has good news to share! Heather and George found out, after MONTHS of trying they are pregnant! Jenny and Emrick are also expecting, this will be their second. Jayme and Patrick decided a couple of weeks ago to start looking for jobs to get them back to Texas. They will be returning to the Houston area on May 20th!!!!!!!!!!! We are VERY excited for each of our friends!

Our lives have been pretty eventless. I did shoot my first non-friend/family wedding this past Saturday. It went beautifully! I ended up handing out a few business cards. The whole photography thing has really taken off, I've been busy every weekend for the past month or so doing shoots!

The house is beginning to come together. We've got one of the greenest yards on the block, which I'm really excited about. Since when we moved in it was brown and FULL of weeds. I painted an accent wall in our bed room to match our new bed/bedding. We both love it! Ryann and I painted the laundry room;it's on its way to being my girly room. It's pink and brown, I LOVE it!

It's amazing what a difference a week can make! Ryann's eye looks SO much better. She is a real trooper too; she didn't really say anything about it hurting or anything! What an amazing little girl!

We had a great time this weekend. Ryann came home a day early, so she was able to attend a play date with Aiden and me on Friday. Adam was nice enough to stay home and wait on our new bed to be delivered! Saturday we took the kids to Chuckie Cheese and played, and played... it was lots of fun!! Today Adam had some soccer games to ref so I took the kids to Gamma and Papa's house. We went to the park and had a great time, and then we had ice cream. Afterwards we went back to Gamma and Papa's and played till dinner time. These kids are SO much fun!! Aiden loves having his big sister around. Can't wait till she's here again next weekend.

Ryann's first REAL ouchie!

Ryann's mommy called us Sunday afternoon. She just wanted to let us know Ryann was in the ER, because she had fallen and hit her eye. She was NOT seriously injured, but it scared her mommy half to death. She was suppose to be cleaning her room and tripped and hit her face on her large magna doodle. I talked to her while she as at hospital and she seemed fine. All she told me was, "I fell, and my eye bleed." She is going to be one strong woman!!!

On a less scary note, Aiden and I joined our mom's group and went to the zoo today. It was a TON of fun. Aiden didn't really get too interested in too many of the animals. He liked the tigers and the birds. We went into the aviary and he got to feed some of the small birds. Then we had a YUMMY lunch at Mi Cocina's.... which I think was really Aiden's favorite part.

The sweetest thing!

I, just like every mother, tell Aiden I love him ALL the time. I say if very slow I - love - YOU!! He loves it. Well, recently he has begun to mimic it; I - ah - YOU! It is the sweetest thing!! He is SO loving. He gives hugs and kisses all the time! Such a sweet baby boy!!

This picture makes me so sad! Would you look at that face, that is a little boy's face, where is my baby?!?! He grew up WAY to quick!! It seems like just the other day we brought that tiny baby boy home, and now would you look at him! I will say this, he is the cutest little thing I've ever seen!

Happy Easter!!!!!!!!

WOW, what a wonderful holiday!! We did a LOT of celebrating! First, Saturday the kids had their first egg hunt. Aiden wasn't at all interested if he couldn't eat what was inside the egg. Ryann hunted, and hunted and hunted! I didn't realize I made 40 eggs, just for her!! Then we put our baskets out so that the Easter Bunny could fill them while we slept! Both kiddos got some goodies! I also was surprised by my wonderful husband with some cute Spring plates!
We went to church with Gamma and Papa, then spent some time at there house. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and then a very fun egg hunt! Aiden also got pretty interested in the pool. Then we went to Aunt Kay's house for our third and final egg hunt! Needless to say these kids made out like bandits!!!!!!

A Very Good Friday!

Today was Adam's off Friday. We had a really great day! Ryann and Aiden got to spend a little time with Gamma while Adam and I attended a class. We came home and cleaned both cars, while the kiddos ran through the water sprinkler! Ryann liked it, once she got use to the cold water. Aiden on the other hand was not happy about the cold water hitting him in the face!! Adam grilled some steaks and chicken and we enjoyed a nice dinner; after which Ryann and I started on our Easter cookies. Ryann really likes to help out in the kitchen. We all had a seat at the table and enjoyed decorating them!!! Rather than decorate his, Aiden just ate them!

We are really in the holiday spirit at the Nabors' house. The kiddos are going to have their first of many egg hunts tomorrow. I think we are also go to the botanic gardens and take some pictures of them in their Easter clothes.

Spring is in the air!

Sorry it's been a while since our last post. It's taken a while to get used to Adam's new work schedule. We are still not fully adjusted, but we're working on it! I can't get good and asleep till I know he is home safe, so I'm not ready to start my day when Aiden is... it's made for some pretty interesting mornings!! Aiden and I worked in the yard today, first time since we moved in that we've had any time to put into working on the curb appeal. Aiden LOVES being out doors. He 'helped' pull weeds, but his favorite thing was to turn on the water spout and flood the flower beds. He is growing and changing so fast! He has consistently been using the potty just before bath time for about two weeks now. I can't believe my baby is already so big!!!!

We are getting ready for Easter and the famous bunny to come and visit. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Easter! It is my all time favorite holiday! I love the meaning, and the time of year, and the colors, I just LOVE it!! We are going to pick Ryann up tomorrow night. I can't wait for her to see her Easter dress, she is going to look and feel like the little princess she is!

In need of a vaction...

from our weekend, how sad is that?! It started Thursday night, we had Kay take Aiden to pick up Ryann; on the way Aiden starts throwing up. So I meet Kay at her house to get the kids and head home, but couldn't get very far because Aiden was chocking on his vomit and made it unsafe to drive.... So Adam brings all the things we might need and joins us in a sleep over a Kay's house. Aiden was sick ALL NIGHT! Friday morning he wakes up feeling GREAT! So we go about our day as normal. Then Saturday late morning Ryann starts, and Aiden starts up again too. At this point it's too late to call Jenny and tell her that it isn't because of Aiden's sinus drainage, so I go and pick up Jenny and Chandler. By Saturday night Adam's caught this little bug. Sunday was pretty puke free, but Sunday night Aiden starts up again!! Everyone seems to be doing better today :) Jenny and Chandler went back to College Station, poor things; came up for a visit and got stuck with a family of sickies who can't leave the house :( It was still great seeing you guys!!!!!!!!!

Grandma Jane left Saturday to go back home, it sure was great getting to visit with her too. Maybe the next time we can go to Alabama?!

Life is crazy!

Or so it's felt like lately. Adam got volunteered to work the second shift at work. SO, he will now be working 2pm to 11:45pm. It's going to take a lot to use to it. We are so scheduled... it's going to be hard for a while. The good news is he will now get to sleep in, (a little) and miss traffic. It's a good thing I'm at home, other wise we'd never see each other!

My photography stuff is really taking off. I've got 2 weddings scheduled over the next few months!! I've also got some family portraits scheduled. I'm really excited!!!! Some of the mom's in my mom's group have mentioned wanting to do some spring portraits too!!! YEAH!!!!!!!

Aiden has found himself a girlfriend. He just loves one of the little girls in our play group. She is about 5 months old and he likes holding her and looking at her. He is very sweet with the little babies. He pats them on the back and is surprisingly gentle.

Grandma Jane is in town and we have had a really great time visiting w/ her!!! We're going to pick Ryann up a day early so she can get some good bonding time with her before she heads back home. (Thanks for letting us do that Mel!!)

Jenny and Chandler are going to be staying with us this weekend too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aiden is very excited his best bud is coming to visit!!

Good times!

We have been very busy lately. Ryann was home with us for a little over a week. We sure were sad to see her go back to her mommy's. Aiden LOVED her being here. He followed her all over the place, never left her side. When she would get into bed before him he would cry while giving her kisses night night; it was very sweet. Thinking about her leaving and how much it would bother him made me think, (for about half a second) that I wanted another one; but that would just mean I'd have two sad ones instead of one :(

Adam's birthday was last Saturday, 28 years old!!!!!!!! He and I went out Friday to celebrate his birthday and St. Patrick's day. The 17th is also when we starting dating, time has really flown by! Saturday afternoon we had a small get together at our new house to celebrate Adam's big day, then we had a special dinner with Gamma and Papa. After wards Adam brought the kids home and I went and took some portraits.

Aiden took a small spill down a couple of stairs yesterday, he is fine; just upset him for a short while. He is getting so big! He talks your ear off these days, he uses the words he knows and throws in a LOT of baby talk. He must have picked up on how often Ryann's mouth moves, and just picks up when she leaves. Seriously between the two of them we may never have a silent moment again! It's worth it though. Their little voices are the sweetest sounds!!

Grandma Jane, or GG; as the kids call her will be flying in on Saturday. We haven't seen her since early May of last year. We're all looking forward to her week long visit!!! I think she is going to be floored at how much the kids have grown and changed.

Home Sweet Home

We're all moved. Still have some unpacking to do, but all our 'stuff' is in the new place. I got the kids rooms all set up, and they really seem to be enjoying them. Ryann just keeps telling me her room is "SO cute!!". Aiden likes his room too. He'll play in it all day. He really likes that he has some room to walk, (Adam and I are pretty happy about that too).

Adam's birthday is this Saturday, we're having a small get together with some family and friends. Hope everyone is doing great!

The joys of moving, BLA!!

We've been packing for the past couple of days, YUCK!! I forgot how much I hate moving! Thank God we won't have to do this again for a while. Our place is a HUGE mess. It's a lot harder w/ kiddos. You can't pack much because I keep thinking well I MIGHT need that for Aiden... this stinks! We are moving this weekend, we're waiting for Ryann to be here so she can be apart of this big move. Adam and I went and painted the kids rooms last weekend. I really must pat us on the back, they look great! Not sure when we'll have a chance to post again - can't be sure how long it will take to have our Internet turned back on. Hope your all doing great!!

Potty Party!

Okay, so he may kill me when he gets older for putting this out for the whole world to see. Aiden went from just sitting on the potty to USING it today! Adam and I don't expect any big changes, but we are very happy and excited for our big boy!!! After he got done, we sang our potty song and did our little dance, then he got a snack as a reward. He was very excited, even though I don't think he really understood what all the excitement was about.

No, not the Nabors' tree; the Fuson tree! Chris and Adrian are expecting!!!! It's been a long time since they've had a baby in their house. Ashelynn is now 7 and Taryn turned 6 in January. We are very excited for these two. I'm looking forward to being an Aunt again!! Mommy is doing good, still fighting morning sickness; but looking great! Adrian's due date is October 11th, so look for more news then!

Aiden enjoyed his FIRST birthday party!! We had a really great time! Aiden was a 'little' overwhelmed by all the people and gifts at first, but soon warmed up. He had a great time walking around the jumping area. (Since my last post he has jumped his walking time up to about 90% of the time). Lots of family and friends joined Aiden in celebrating his big day. He made out like a bandit!! Who knew one kid could have so much?! After the party we got a chance to visit with Aiden's Great Aunt and Uncle for a while... so great to see you guys! We also got to have a yummy dinner with Gamma and Papa. He has played and played and is sure to fall right to sleep when his head hits the pillow. Thanks everyone for helping us make Aiden's first birthday so special! I still can't believe he is one!!!!! Lots of love!

One Year Check-up

Isn't he getting big? Aiden went in for his one year well visit today. He got 4 more shots, ouch!! Other than that the visit went really well. He weighs 20-6. 5 lbs and is 30" long. He is following his curve nicely. He liked his nurse, well until she gave him his shots. He was just sitting talking to her. He told her all about the lights in the office, "ight, ight!" I think these shots were the hardest on Mommy, for the first time he really knew what was going on. I felt so sorry for him. Although he didn't cry for too long. A few fruit puffs, and he was a s good as new.

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY AIDEN!!!!!!!!

WOW!! Can you believe a WHOLE year has gone by?! Aiden has changed SO much!! He is walking more and more. He still likes to crawl, but he is now crawling about 50% of the time. We have started potty training, right now it's just him trying to understand he has to sit on the potty, which he seems to like doing. He is talking more and more everyday. It is just amazing how things seem to 'pop' out of his mouth. Aiden's birthday party will be this Saturday, and I think it's going to be a ton of fun... although you can bet Mommy will be crying her eyes out. We go to the doctor for his 12 month check up Thursday, I'll be sure to post his 'stats' then.

If you get a chance give Aiden a call and wish him Happy Birthday. He LOVES to talk on the phone and you just might get to hear him tell you "HI!!".

What fun!

Ryann went back to her mommy's last night. It sure was great having her with us the past week!! We had lots of fun!! Aiden loved having her here to play with. She is turning in to such a big girl. She is so smart, and FUNNY. She cracks me up with some of the things she comes up with....
Aiden is growing so fast! Yesterday alone he said Hi and light. He has also learned how to go up and down the stairs. He'll sit and play pick a boo, and patty cake... it's so cute when he 'rolls it up'. Sunday he said duck. He got two more teeth this past week, bringing the total to 7! These last two have really made him drooly... gotta start wearing bibs all the time again. Aiden is getting better and better at walking, but he still likes being close to the ground and crawls most of the time.
Gamma and Papa got back from their cruise this past weekend. They had a great time. Gamma won BIG playing bingo on the ship!!!
Aunt Kim and Uncle Joe come home this weekend from their cruise, can't wait to hear how that was!!

Happy Birthday Chandler!!!!

Adam, the kids and I all took a trip to College Station this weekend. We had a really great time. The purpose of our trip was to go to Chandler's first birthday party, but we also got to visit A&M, and eat some yummy food we've missed! I got some really cute pictures of Adam and the future Aggies on campus!!!
It was so great to visit with Jenny and her family. Ryann and Aiden had a great time playing with Chandler. That kid REALLY gets around. He is SO fun!! I don't think he ever stops smiling! Next to Aiden, he is the cutest little boy!!
I think Chandler had a great birthday, he got a TON of stuff!! We sure hope he likes his Elmo chair. The kids partied HARD, we were in the car for less than 10 minutes and they were OUT!!

Adam had his first soccer game of the season, they WON!!!

More room!!!

Yippy!!! Adam and I have been on the hunt for a place with more room. We found it this past weekend!!! We have LONG since out grown this apartment! Now the kids will each have there own room. I know Ryann will be happy. Aiden likes to take things off her desk and she isn't too crazy that he does that! Our lease ends here the end of March, but we can move into the new place the end of Feb. So were happy to have a FULL month to move. Maybe we can get some color on the walls before we move all our stuff!! Just wanted to share our exciting news!!

WOW!!

Aiden and I are sitting on the floor playing, having a good time. When he stands up and just takes off walking! He walked about 3 feet!! It was all on his own, no "come to mommy". He is so amazing! He still prefers to crawl, but the walking thing is coming along very well! I think it'll only be a couple of weeks and he'll be done w/ the whole crawling thing.... (kinda hope I'm wrong, w/ him crawling I can pretend he's still a baby!

He's gonna be a talker....

I caught Aiden 'talking' on the phone, "Haaiiii dada!" It was so funny, he holds the phone more to the back of his neck than to his ear. I think it's so amazing how kids pick up on the things we do.

It hasn't been long since my last post, so not much has changed. Aiden did take 5 steps Monday night.... he had to show his Aunt Kim how big he is getting!!

Growing Boy!

My, my how time seems to fly! Aiden is growing and changing so fast! He now has 5 teeth!! He has started to refuse his veggies, something this kid has NEVER done. So we just sneak them in with his other foods. He is starting to get some dairy. He LOVES cottage cheese, which kinda grosses his daddy out! He is standing better and better by himself. He took 4 steps last night, but he still prefers to crawl. He hasn't said any new words lately, but he seems to have a sound that means he wants his cup, or he wants to nurse.... kinda sounds like di,di.... he might be trying to say drink?! Aiden is going to be one on the 21st of next month. I still can't believe how fast it's gone by!!! We have started planning his party, I think it'll be a blast!!

Back to "normal"

Yeah, if there is such a thing! Aiden is FINALLY over the stomach bug that had him down since last Thursday. I felt so sorry for my baby. He threw up SO much!! We took him to the doctor and they gave us a prescription. He seems to back to 100%!!!! (we almost went a whole year w/ out getting sick)

Ryann went back to her mommy's yesterday. It was so hard to let her go, but she missed them terribly! We all loved having her around for so long. Aiden especially! He followed her all over! Sometimes she was the only thing that could make him stop crying.

So now that Daddy is back at work, Sissy is gone for now and Aiden isn't sick anymore; life returns back to "normal"!

Back to work!

Poor Daddy, he returned to work today after almost 2 weeks off! The kids and I aren't real sure what to do with out him. Aiden and Ryann LOVED Daddy being home all that time. I got pretty spoiled having him home too.

Aiden hasn't really persued the walking thing much. He'll only take a step when he is certain he isn't going to fall. He has cut two more teeth bringing the grand total to 4. You can already see two more pushing on his gums, but it could be months before they come in if they are anything like the two he just got. We have discovered he is quite a dare devil, after he "climbed" out of his high chair. He is okay, just looked a little banged up for a couple of days.

Ryann is the same sweet little angel! She amazes us almost daily. We heard her say y'all for the first time the other day, it was funny! She has really enjoyed being here the past week and a half, it's going to be very hard to let her go back to her mommy's.

Merry Christmas!!!

WOW! What a wonderful Christmas!! We had a super first Christmas as a family of four. The kids had an awesome time, they got everything they could ever want/ need. Ryann's big gift was her Cinderella bike, which she LOVED. She had Adam take her outside for hours so she could ride. Both kids loved their gifts, but funny how they loved what the other one got too. Adam and I got some goodies too!!!

First step!!!!!!!

Okay, this kid is growing up WAY to fast!! He took his first step today!!!!! Aiden, Adam and I were playing at the foot of our bed and Aiden was standing infront of Adam. He then turned around and took a step to me. Adam and I were so excited, we had him walking between the two of us. Still only took one more step on his own, but what a start!!!! I just can't believe our baby is growing up so fast!!

After almost five years Jayme and Patrick tied the knot. Ryann and I were happy to be asked to be part of the special day!! The wedding was beautiful! Patrick and Jayme were made for each other, and I don't think anyone deserves to be this happy more than Jayme!! She is an awesome friend. Also want to congratulate her on graduating on Saturday from SHSU.

Patrick and Jayme will be living in Arizona, can't say I'm happy about that part, but we do wish them the very best!!!!

Fun time!!

Aiden and I had a great time today! We got to meet up with our moms group for the first time today. We went to the Ridgmar mall and had pictures taken with Santa. Aiden liked the big ol guy!! Then we let the kiddos play in the play are, what fun! Sadly Aiden and I had to leave early.... family obligations. Well hope your all doing well!!

Happy to be home!!!

Wow, what a week. Aiden and I left Monday and just returned home!!! We had a great time with Jayme and family, but we are both very happy to be home.

Lots happened for our little boy the is past week. He said bye-bye for the first time on Tuesday. He also stood from the sitting position w/ out holding on to anything!!!!! He tried to say puppy, it came out pup - close!! I think he came back more spoiled than when we left, (yeah.... if that were possible!)

We had a great time going to Jayme's many wedding showers. I took her bridal, and graduation portraits. Plus we got some much needed things off her wedding to-do list!!

Now I've got to get this kid fed and in the bath, so we can be all ready for some cuddle time when daddy to gets home - God how we've both missed him!!!!!!!

We had Christmas w/ my brothers, sister and kids at our house tonight.... what a GREAT time!!!! The kids got some AWESOME gifts, they had a blast playing w/ all their cousins. Hope you are all getting into the holiday spirit. Have an awesome weekend!!!

He's a growing boy!!

As most of you know, Aiden turned 9 months a few days ago. I took him in for his well check today. It went terrific! He is 29.5" long..... in the 75th percentile. He is 18-10.5lbs..... about the 25th percentile. I was concerned he was too thin, but Dr. Rhodes looked at me and said "looks like he gets it honest." He has followed along the same arch, although his weight has dropped down since his last check-up. The doc said that is probably due to the fact that he is ALL over the place. He got the last of his hepatitis B shots, and the second of his flu shots. He did really great, only cried for a minute. Can't believe our baby is growing so fast!!!!

Ryann went back to her mommy's today, but not after a wonderful week and a half!! We had tons of fun at the park and local play areas. We also had a super time at Disney Princess on Ice. Followed by a terrific Thanksgiving! We got into the Christmas spirit, we decorated our home for the holidays and we went to Prairie Lights' Airblown World!!

Aiden so LOVED having his big sister here - he followed her around like a lost puppy.... it was so cute!!! Ryann also loved it, she had her own real baby "doll". I don't know how many times I walked into find her "feeding" or "diapering" her baby.

We can't wait to have our baby girl back!!

Also, I just got news today - Drew Andrews, (Adrian's nephew) is terribly sick. He is at the Children's hospital in Houston. Please keep him and his parents, (Carl and Aaryn) in your prayers.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hope you've all enjoyed your day! We sure did. We went to Gamma and Papa's and had a wonderful meal. Aiden and Ryann, jumped right in and celebrated Thanksgiving the good old fashion way.... they ate ALL day!!

Then we came home and started getting ready for Christmas!!! Ryann had a great time decorating the tree. No doubt she will ask every day, from now till Christmas if it's Christmas yet. Aiden had a good time "helping" too. He just would sit and stare at the tree..... loves the singing frog too.

The princess is here!!

We picked up Ryann on Friday night. We are going to have her for till Sunday!!!! Aiden has already really enjoyed having his big sister here!! We took her to see Disney Princess on Ice Saturday. We all had a really great time!!! They showed a little bit of all the great princess stories.

Gamma came over and played with us today. The kids were so happy to get some quality time with their Grandma. She, Ryann and I went to Garden Ridge and got some things to get ready for Christmas. I can't believe it's already time for Thanksgiving.

#3 is on it's way!!

NO, not our third child!!!!
Aiden's third tooth is poking through. It's the top left one!!! Adam and I have thought he was working on getting another one for a while. This explains his fussiness, and his need to be with his mommy!!! I can't believe he is big enough to have three teeth - he is going to be 9mo NEXT week!!!

What a week!!!

OMG, am I glade this week is over! We were all so happy Adam come home. Aiden and I had a good time, but he missed his daddy terribly!! After a couple of days, when Aiden would cry he would call for Adam. He would also crawl around looking for him. He was SO happy to hear his voice on the phone, but even more so when he saw his face. Ryann was so excited to see her daddy too. Melony said she started asking to come see us on Monday. I picked her up early and we surprised Daddy.

Aiden started getting a runny nose on Tuesday, due to lovely allergies. With all the drainage, we experienced our first, (and second) vomit! I felt so sorry for my little baby. We've started some meds, he is already feeling much better. He also got his first busted lip. We were at Kay's and he wanted to try and walk from the couch to the coffee table without holding on to anything. He took about two steps, then down he went - face first in the coffee table. To my surprise he got over it pretty quick. He is going to be one tough kid!!

Ryann is growing and changing! She never ceases to amaze. She, Adam and Aiden are reading a book right now. Aiden keeps trying to turn the page and Ryann told him, "Aiden no, (you're) driving me CRAZY!!" - she is a nut! I can't believe how much she has changed, just in the past couple of months. She is so smart, and we all know how beautiful she is.....

Congrats Jenny and Emrick. You had a beautiful wedding and a DREAMY reception! We had a great time while in College Station. Aiden got to play with his best friend; Chandler! Plus mommy got to visit and be part of Jenny's special day.

Adam just left for a work related trip. He'll be gone till Friday. What will Aiden and I do to fill our days?? Ha! We've already got two weeks full of excitement planned!

Balancing Act...

Aiden has started a new "trick" this morning. He pulls himself up and stands holding onto the couch, coffee table, etc... then he lets go and stands alone for a few seconds!!!! He doesn't fall, when he has had enough of being a big boy, he then reaches back and holds on till he is ready to try again.

Aiden also has learned to climb. The other day Adam and I watched as he climbed up our built in bookshelves. He had his hands on the second shelf (about 3ft off the ground) and his knees on the first!! I can already tell we will soon have our hands full.... he is ALL boy!!!

Ryann and Aiden had a great Halloween! They went as Pebbles and Bam Bam from the Flintstones. We took them to Boo at the Zoo for some safe and fun "trick or treating". Ryann, Adam and I decorated some "scary" halloween cupcakes while Aiden enjoyed watching. We had a wondefully fun weekend!!

He said "Da-da"!!

Kay swears he said it a while back, but Adam and I heard it for the first time tonight!!! Adam was holding him, and Aiden was babbling then out came da-da! Our little boy is growing up way to fast!!

I think Adam was excited to hear it. His eyes got big and a huge smile came over his face. Maybe Aiden will end up a daddy's boy after all.

Walking 'round!

I know every post on here starts with I can't believe how fast these kids are growing, but it's true!!! Aiden has learned to walk from the couch to the coffee table, back to the couch, down to his learning table. He walks around the table, and back to the couch!!! I can't believe how big he is. Totally brave too!! He still falls sometimes, but his balance is really great! He surprises me everyday. They really do grow up way to fast!!!
