WHEW!

Boy, have we been misleading; you would look at this thing and think we've had nothing going on – HA! Life is great for us these days. We are so busy and loving it. I LOVE my job. Surprisingly we all have adapted to our new life style very easily. Aiden loves his new school. He is growing SO fast!

Mother's day was wonderful. I am the most spoiled mommy EVER. I got a weekend away with a great group of women to scrapbook! It was AWESOME!

We had our portraits made with a wonderful photographer, Erin (http://www.epcaptures.com/). We'll be doing some real family portraits with her at the end of the month with little miss. I can't wait! These were so fun to do.

Ryann finished up school last week. She has been counting down the days for a while now. We still believe Ryann was too advanced for the class she was in this past year, and we are hoping that she'll be in a class more her speed next year. We heard all year long how board she was in this class, and that she already knew how to do most things they were learning. She did learn how to read, and is now reading EVERYTHING. I love sitting and listening to her read, I don't care what it is; it sounds so sweet! She'll be here for soccer season again this summer, so be on the lookout for that schedule soon.

As I said, Aiden is growing so fast. He amazes us daily with the things he can say and how fast he is learning-- everything! He cracked his Gamma up last weekend talking about Galaxies, telling her Earth is in the Milky Way. His reading skills are improving more and more everyday. He can, (if he WANTS to) get through about a six page early reader by himself, (that is approximately a 40 word book.) His teacher tells us that he is very well liked by his classmates that they all love him being there. I think he tells me he has a new "best friend" every other day.

We love this summer like weather we've been having. Took advantage of it this weekend and went for our first swim of the year. Aiden was a little fish. He was swimming back and fourth between the walls, steps and Mommy and Daddy. Ryann is SO ready to go swimming. The last weekend she was with us we went and got her a new suit. I think she told us 700 times that she can't wait to learn how to swim this year. It will be so nice when they both can swim freely. Trips to the pool will be so much FUN!

I guess that's it for us now. I'm working on getting more pictures up in our photo albums, so check that out when you get a chance. Until next time; have a great summer!

Green Eggs and Ham

We got a call from Ryann's mommy last night. She wanted us to hear something rather exciting. Ryann was reading Green Eggs and Ham!!! It was so sweet to hear her little voice sounding out the words. Her excitement over what she was doing was just priceless. We are SO proud of our sweet, not so little girl! And cannot wait to hear her read in person!

big changes....

Aiden started his new school program today. Isn't he the cutest thing EVER?!!!

Today and tomorrow are really just a tiny test run. I start my new job Monday; and I need these days to be sure he is happy. And he seems to be! It was so hard on ME to leave him this morning. I held it together until the door closed, and then the tears took over. Only for a minute though. I stood at the door and watched him play with his teacher and classmates and I knew I made the right decision about going back to work. The fears I had about going back are beginning to subside, because I know he is going to be okay. I've been online all morning watching him in his class. He is truly in his element. He is having a wonderful time. I can hardly wait for the end of the day so I can pick him up and hear all about it! I'm ready to start my job. It's time. I have been so blessed to be able to stay home with Aiden. Adam has been amazing. But it's time, I'm ready. So wish me luck! Hopefully I'll remember to update this thing more often!

Sweetness....

There is absolutely NOTHING in this world more precious than a sleeping baby lying on your chest. Even when that baby is no longer a baby by definition.

I will cherish this picture for a lifetime..

Been a while.....

WOW, I don't think we've ever gone this long with out an update!! A TON has happened and I'm far too lazy to go into great detail. So, let's see.... Adam turned the big 3-0 last month. We had a week of celebrations!
You can see all the pictures from that here (http://naborsfamily.myphotoalbum.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=album127)

Easter was wonderful! We had countless egg hunts,

pictures are here (http://naborsfamily.myphotoalbum.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=album128)

Aiden and I are keeping busy, watching two of his cousins during the week. He LOVES having other kids around to play with all day. It's been a lot of fun for us.

Ryann and Aiden are growing like weeds. Both learning so much, it's hard too keep up! They are both reading these days. Aiden is mostly just reading three letter- short vowel sound words. Ryann is doing a bit more than that. We are SO proud of both our little smarty pants!

Adam is about to finish up this semester of school. He plans on taking the summer off, which is going to push graduation back to next summer; but we agree that is what is best.

That pretty much gets you all caught up. I hope to get back in the hang of keeping the masses updated on our where abouts. Until then, have a super week!!

Snow much fun!

Our prayers came true. We had more than enough snow fall and stick. I think the final count was FIVE inches!!!
Aiden and I had a blast playing out in the snow yesterday. His favorite part was our huge snowball fight. Mine was watching him have such a great time, well that or sliding down the drive way. We don't have sled, or anything even close; but a box worked just as well!

We still have plenty of snow left on the ground, so I think we'll head out for some more fun!

TONS more picture in our albums!

SNOW!!!

Mommy, can we go play in it?!!!!!

I'm praying that enough will fall and stick, that he can get out in it and have a good time!

Growing like a weed

Aiden visited Dr. Rhodes yesterday for his three year well check. It was a great visit, for one; because Aiden is happy and healthy. The other, because he didn't have to get any shots! Aiden was more than happy about that! He is getting SO big! He is continuing to follow is arch nicely, still in the 75% in weight and height.
35 lbs
38"
He also had his blood pressure taken for the first time. He was so intrigued by what the nurse was doing. He sat perfectly still, and watched her every move.

Party Time!!!!!!

What a party! Aiden had the most amazing time. I mean, how often do you get to go swimming in February?! We had a great turn out, and I think all the kids had fun. Here are a few pictures, but like always you can see LOTS more in our albums.

Aiden is so blessed, and spoiled - one of the great gifts he got was a Spiderman camera. You can see his handy work by clicking the link to the right titled Aiden's photos.

A Glimpse

Into how Aiden spent his third birthday!

Bowling in the afternoon....

Chuck E Cheese for dinner and play....

Then home to open/play with gifts from Mommy and Daddy....

I think it's safe to say, he doesn't have much of a problem turning three anymore!
**LOTS more pictures in his birthday album!**

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!!!

So, today is Aiden's THIRD birthday; can you believe it?! I can't, seems like just yesterday we brought that sweet little baby home from the hospital.

Do you guys remember that? Gosh, he sure has changed!
We've got big plans today to celebrate this birthday. We started off early this morning, he had two cupcakes and a sucker first thing this - hey, you only turn three once! Then of course his pirate party this weekend, he can hardly wait! Until then, we hope you are all doing great. Check our photo albums when you get a chance, I'm sure I'll have a TON of pictures from the next few days.

Got my new lens!!

And I LOVE it!!! It really makes me want to save up some money and buy more! Here are a few pictures that I snapped with it. Nothing spectacular just snaps of Aiden when he was some what still.

Can you believe he is going to be THREE on Thursday?!! It blows my mind! He has grown so fast, it's hard to keep up at times. He finished up this session of "reading school" on Saturday. Miss. Rhonda has been very impressed with how quickly he has learned, and is ready to move him up to the next level. We are so proud of our little smarty pants!

Double Trouble

They look pretty sweet and innocent don't they? Please do not be deceived, together they are wonderful little terrors! Saturday evening they found their way into our "front room" the one room the kids are not allowed unless accompanied by an adult. This room is full of all kinds of fun things, the computer, my camera, the video camera, all my *priceless* scrap booking paraphernalia, you get the point. Ryann and Aiden's world of make believe brought them to this wonderful, unexplored world and they just *had* to have the office chair. Some how it got spun out of control knocking down my beautiful camera and smashing the lens. Oh the horror! I cried, I yelled, I blamed everyone; then came to the hard to swallow truth, no matter how many rules were broken by our sweet mischievous little darlings, I should not have left my camera out - open to such harm. The good news it, it's being replaced; even as we speak with a new BETTER one. So I guess it all works out okay in the end!

Okay, on to our weekend! This was a special weekend. Ryann and Adam planned to attend the annual Daddy Daughter Dance. Ryann picked out her dress about a month ago, and has been anxiously waiting this wonderful night since. She looked absolutely beautiful! She and her daddy had a wonderful time at the dance!
A little ticked that boys don't get to have any fun at a stinking daughter dance, Aiden requested a Spiderman night. So I took that and ran! We had Spiderman mask, cookies, juice and let's not forget the wonderful web (silly string). I brought the bounce house in the living room; aired it up - and the fun began!

After all our fun we met up with Ryann and Daddy for dinner. It was a magical night!
more pictures up in our albums!
