Making some changes...

I've changed our photo hosting site yet again. I think this one is going to work better. I have unlimited uploads, so now I won't have to pick and choose which photos to share. There are some new ones up already so check them out. I'll take me a while, but I'm going to put up all our old ones too, so check back often to take a stroll down memory lane. Anyone can post comments on this site, and you can also purchase the photos you like.

We've been BUSY lately! We had Ryann and Kamri this past weekend. We started celebrating Halloween since Ryann will be with her mommy on Tuesday. First all three kids got to open Halloween gifts from Aunt Kay. We went to a Fall Festival where they got to ride ponies. This was Aiden's first time doing so. He had SO much fun, unfortunately I didn't have my camera - bad Mommy!!!

Then Saturday night we went to Boo at the Zoo. This was our third year to attend. The kids got a TON of candy. We all had a great time! Aiden LOVED asking for "tandy" he always told the person giving it to him, "thanks man" Ryann was Tinkerbell, Aiden was Peter Pan, Kamri was a ballerina, Daddy went as a soccer ref, who was attacked, and Mommy was a cheerleader.

Sunday we did some more Halloween celebrating at Gamma and Papa's house. The kids all had a great time playing with their grandparents! We took the girls back to their mommy and came home.

Aiden is talking more and more, not much he can't say. He now knows most of his shapes, colors and lots of letters. He is just amazing!!!! He is minding his manners so well these days, always saying "please" and "tank you" - too sweet!!!

Halloween Pumpkins!!

Aiden experienced carving a pumpkin for the first time today! This was always something I LOVED doing when I was a kid. From past experience with Ryann, she isn't too crazy about it. That is why we painted our pumpkins last year. Aiden had a great time. He didn't know what to think at first. He reached in and said "yucky!" and quickly pulled his hand out. I showed him what he needed to do. After that the fun started!! We cleaned it, and then I carved the word 'boo' in it. When the letters fell out Aiden said "oops" and started putting them back. Once we got it back inside and put a candle in it, he was mesmerized!! Spending time with him is SO much fun these days. He is a real character!!

**Oh, please excuse the fact that Aiden is just in his undies, this is pretty common these days - makes our frequent trips to the potty a little easier!**

Looks kinda like BOD- oops!!

BUSY, BUSY!!

We picked up Ryann Thursday afternoon. Friday we had a play date, and the kids had a blast! My friend Kelley has some what of a zoo in her home. We got to see two Sloths, the are SO cool!!! Aiden thought they were monkeys. To my surprise Ryann was not scared of them. Among her many other pets they have a grate dane, which Aiden thought was a horse!

While we were at our play date Adam was busy taking the GRE. He did wonderful - which we all knew he would! He plans to go back to school; very part time, starting in January. Life as a married couple will soon feel like life as a single parent. We'll manage; always keeping in mind he is trying to better our situation, and his career.

I had a scrap book thing Saturday morning, and then Gamma and Papa came over. We all had a great time visiting and watching the A&M game - WHOOP!!!

Today, we headed to Kamri's birthday party. These kids are growing up WAY to fast! Aiden had a great time playing with Ryann and Kamri and the rest of the kids. He slept the whole way home, and was ready for bed at eight o'clock right on the dot! Adam is crashed already too. I on the other hand am dealing with restless legs. I've got a doctors appointment on the 25, but not sure if I can wait that long. I've woken up two nights in the past week crying because of the pain and discomfort, gotta get this under control!

Hope you're all doing great!
New pictures are up!

Big boy haircut!

Aiden went in today for his first real big boy hair cut. We visited Cool Cuts 4 Kids. That is a w0nderful place. Aiden had fun playing before his hair cut. During his hair cut he watched the wiggles and got to sit in a yellow taxi. He was very excited about his yeyow tar (yellow car). He did really well, didn't cry - just had a look of concern on his face the whole time. He looks more like Adam now - I think. Don't get me wrong, he still favors Mommy, but you can see more of Daddy now.

Home Sweet Home!

Adam returned home last night! Aiden and I are SO happy to have him back home. Sounds like he had a good trip. Got lots of work done, plus he got to see most everything he wanted to see. He came back with some souvenirs for us all. We'll all be sporting our I love NY shirts soon! He isn't really home though, he had to get up and go ref some soccer games; so I guess real family time will start this evening.

I'm sure Adam feels like he missed a lot of Aiden growing up this past week. Aiden has picked up on A through G of the alphabet song! He also can tell you what a circle and triangle are. He is recognizing more colors. Never getting yellow, pink, white, black or brown wrong. Blue and red are getting better, but he refuses to say green. Oh, big step in potty training yesterday. He had on his big boy undies and was playing. I heard "Uh-oh, tt Mommy - POTTY!!!" He ran past me on the way to the potty. I noticed a tiny wet spot on his undies. I sat him on the potty and he finished. He actually was able to hold it! BIG STEP! Yay Aiden!!!! Aiden has also decided he is a huge football fan. I turned on the A&M game and he sat on the couch and hasn't moved. Every once in a while I hear "go man go, ball!!" I guess he likes it! LOL!!

Welcome baby girl Fuson!!!

She is FINALLY here!!! Chris and Adrian couldn't be happier! Daelyn Avery Fuson was born today. She weighed in at a whopping 8lbs 10oz, and 19inches long. She came to us by c-section. Mommy and baby are both doing well. A little exhausted, but that's to be expected. Ashelynn and Taryn are so proud of their new baby sister! Aiden LOVED her. He wanted to hold her SO bad, but took playing with Uncle Tis (Chris) instead. I don't have any pictures to share YET, (Adam has my camera in New Jersey) but I'll post some as soon as I get my hands on a camera. If you would like to call or send flowers contact me and I will be happy to give you the happy family's contact info. They will be coming home from the hospital Saturday, I'm sure they can't wait! I'll keep you all updated on our newest member of the family!!

In a blink of an eye....

Aiden is proving everyday that he is no longer a baby. He continues to amaze me with how smart he is. It's funny, because those things bring nothing but joy to me. I get so happy to hear a new word, song, letter, color.... but to watch him actually change from that tiny little baby into this little boy, well just make me sad. Aiden started wearing 'big boy' underwear yesterday afternoon. He wears them during waking hours while we are home. He has had only one accident while wearing them! Aiden really enjoys using the potty. He loves running into the next room and telling who ever he sees, "I tt potty!!!" I get so much joy from his happiness. Today we converted his crib into a toddler bed. He was SO excited to be apart of what was going on. He had a great time jumping on the mattress while I put the bed together. We went potty, put a diaper on, washed his hands and teeth then I watched as he climbed into bed all by himself for the first time. It was so sweet, but I couldn't help but cry. Our baby is really growing up, and it's safe to say I've got mixed emotions! We read a book and then gave hugs and kisses. He turned over and went right to sleep. I walked out of the room thinking, where did my baby go? It's so true; they really do grow up FAST!

Sorry these pictures aren't great - they were taken w/ my phone Adam has my camera out of state!!

First time in his 'big boy' bed!!

Dancing in his undies!!LOL!!

Our weekend with 3 kiddos!

What happened to the weekend?! It went by SO fast!! Friday afternoon we picked up Ryann and her little sister, Kamri. First thing after dinner, we got our home ready for Halloween. The girls had a great time putting up black and orange lights, ghost, pumpkins and the rest of our not-too scary decor. Saturday after my photo shoot, a friend of mine; who has girls about Ryann and Kamri's age came over. All four of the girls, and Aiden had a BLAST! Later that afternoon I took Kamri and did some birthday portraits - she was a wonderful little model. She told me the whole time, "this is fun, I like this!" When we returned home all the kids got to work on making a Halloween picture frame. We had a late night of playing!! Today was our usual Sunday, spent with Gamma and Papa. The kids had fun, as usual! Aiden LOVED having both girls here this weekend. He really bonded with Kamri, who by the way - is the most well mannered child I have ever met! She is really a sweet girl!

Not sure whats up w/ Aiden's smile, but aren't they cute?!

Silly kids!

Aiden and I are preparing for a week with out Daddy. Adam leaves for New Jersey tomorrow. He will return Friday, the sixth. Not sure how we are going to handle this "alone" time. Aiden is very attached to his daddy, and is use to seeing him everyday - so we'll see.

Aiden is still amazing us daily. He is just so awesome! I LOVE being his mommy! He is getting better and better at recognizing colors. Yellow and pink are his favorites, he never gets them wrong. Red is becoming easier for him too. He now will tell you, " I wanna count" and then goes on to do so. He is doing very well with potty training, asking more frequently to use the potty.

Ryann is doing great! She is just so grown! She is now enrolled in an after school program, starting officially on Monday. She will be doing tumbling - which I am THRILLED about!

Hope you're all doing well. If you would like to see more pictures from this weekend, check out our photo gallery!

Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!

Has it been two years already?! It's almost hard to believe! Our life together has been full of love, excitement and adventure! I made the comment to someone about it being easy. That is truly how I feel. God has blessed us in so many ways that I can actually say life as a married couple and parents has been easy! Praise God!!!!!!

We have really enjoyed this anniversary so far. Saturday night we celebrated together, first we opened our gifts. The second anniversary was made for us! The traditional gift is cotton. Adam got two express shirts, and I pair of gaucho paints and sweat shirt form Victoria's Secret as well as a BIG, comfy blanket! Adam also got a pair of tickets to the A&M/ OU game in November.
We went out to dinner and had some yummy sushi!

**before going out Saturday night**

Sunday Adam's parents came over. We opened our gift from them, and then went to dinner.

Today, we had a picnic at the Botanic Gardens and then walked the Japanese Garden. Ending up at the exact place we got married, two wonderful years ago! Before leaving we stopped in the gift shop and got a sake set to help remember the day!

**Standing in the exact spot we said I do!**

We'll do a little more celebrating tomorrow with Adam's aunt. Then in November we'll travel kid FREE to College Station and celebrate some more. We are both really looking forward to this trip. We stay SO busy these days we don't get much time together. I am a little anxious about being away from Aiden that long, but I know he'll be in good hands - just hard, because I've never even spent the night way from him! We'll be staying at Messina Hoff in the Romeo and Juliet room - It's going to be great!!

When Daddy is in charge!

Just kidding. This could have just as easily happen to me, but it didn't so I can pick on him!! I was out and about this morning and I got a call from Adam asking how to clean up baby powder. Aiden had gotten into his changing table drawer and pulled out his bottle of powder and dumped the WHOLE thing out. First he pulled out some of his PJ's so they got covered with the white stuff too. I told Adam to close the door and I'd take care of it when I got home. It wasn't as bad as I imaged, looks like he had a good time though! LOL!!!

Learning so fast!!

On the 7th of this month Aiden helped Kay count to ten. Today he did it all by himself! on, tu, tee, fo, ive, six, seben, eight, nine, en!!! I can't believe he picked up on it SO fast! He is also picking up on more letters in the alphabet. He seems to favor B and P. He knows right where they go in the song too! He is learning how to say his own name. Sometimes it's as clear as day, others it comes out a bit more like aihen. He no longer calls himself baby when looking at pictures he tells you "that me!" I'm sure I'm forgetting something, since he does something new and amazes me every two to three minutes! Oh, but I do have a funny story....

We were at Kay's house, (a while back). She had gotten out her check book to right a check. Aiden brought her a pen, and said "A-I-D-E-N" She took the pen and continued what she was doing, then he brought another pen handing it to her again he said "A-I-D-E-N". He did that about 4 times. Then today Aiden got into Kay's purse, took out her check book and pen and started to "write", spelling A-I-D-E-N. Apparently he thinks Kay owes him some money!! LOL!!

Is it Friday yet?!

It’s just now nap time, (just after lunch) and the day already feels so LONG! Aiden and I got up early this morning and went to the doctor’s office, only to find out that he is NOT sick. He HAD to inherit his daddy’s allergies! We got a RX for some Zyrtec, which he'll have to take daily at least until the first freeze. Then on our way home a very sweet man waved me down to let me know my rear passenger tire was flat. I pulled into a gas station and it was COMPLETELY flat! SO, Aiden and I had to spend a few more hours away from home to have that fixed. Turns out there was a huge screw stuck in it!

Our weekend was much better than this morning! Ryann was home, and we LOVED it!! We picked her up Friday, and returned home to go to the homecoming game. We didn’t stay the whole time, ‘cause boy does this town LOVE it’s football. Seriously there wasn’t even standing room in the grass – crazy! We stayed long enough for the kids to run around and wear themselves out. When we returned home I found out that 3 of the shoots I was scheduled to do were rescheduled for next weekend. I did still get to go to my scrapbook club- which is SO much fun!! The rest of the weekend was filled with playtime w/ the kiddos. Adam had a few games to ref early Saturday morning, but that was about it.

Ryann is still loving school and doing great! She comes home from school with a smiley EVERYday!! Not a whole lot else to report on little miss, she is still as sweet and beautiful as ever. She is VERY funny too. She cracks me up all the time, and she NEVER stops talking. You know that commercial for the cell phone company and they have the little cheerleader on the phone – well that’s Ryann!

Aiden is still changing every time you turn around. He can now show you how old he is, it’s so cute!! He loves to sing and will go back and forth between Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Old McDonald all day if you let him. He is picking up on more and more words daily. He has learned how to say Ryann’s mommy’s name – Melony; although when he says it it sounds more like Nelmony. Aiden is learning his colors. It is still a little confusing for him, but he has learned pink. If you show him something pink he says, “Sissy, pinkt” I think it’s so funny that he puts those two things together. He is also picking up on some parts of the alphabet song. As I sing it he throws in the letters he knows. He is just so amazing to me! Today while we were waiting on my car he looked at me and said, “Poo-poo”. I checked his diaper and he hadn’t, then a second later he looked at me again and said, “poo-poo” I asked him if he wanted to sit on the potty, and he said yes. I took him in and he used it. This is the first time he has been able to make it to the potty for a BM. Of course we did our little potty dance, washed our hands and had a snack. He was so proud of himself! He only used one diaper all day yesterday, so I think you could say this potty training stuff is going pretty good!!!

Busy day!!

Aiden and I had a BUSY day! First we went and had breakfast with some of the mom's in our play group. It was YUMMY!!! Then we met up with the rest of the group and the Ridgmar Mall play area. Aiden had a great time. That play area is awesome for kids his size. He was all over the place!!! Then we went to lunch and walked the mall. We made it home about 4:30, just in time to start dinner. Adam is working a normal shift today and tomorrow, so when he gets home we'll be outside messing with my car, and cleaning the garage! Adam is going to see if I we will need to take my car in to get the AC, or part of the AC fixed - yay!! Ug, I'm really hoping that it's just this little thing he can take care of, **fingers crossed!** Here are some pix of Aiden playing today.

Excited?!

Reaching for the camera!!

and this is why we wear hats!! LOL!!

Craft Playdate!

Aiden and I had a blast this morning! We hosted our second "craft" playdate! At the first one we worked on Aggie overalls. At this one we made handprint plates. They are SUPER cute, and a really great keepsake! Knowing Ryann wouldn't be here for today, we did her's the weekend before last. I can't wait to get these up in their rooms! Look how close their hands are in size - keep in mind Ryann is 4 and Aiden is 18mo!!!

These kids are growing up TOO fast!

Mr. Smarty Pants!!

Aiden and I were at Kay's house last night. I was printing some stuff, and Aiden and Kay were sitting at the dinner table having a snack. Aiden wanted a piece of chocolate. Kay let him have a piece, and then he wanted another. She told him no, and he began to cry. She said, "Let’s count them as we put them up. 1, 2, 3, 4". Aiden followed her up with "5!" Kay continued "6,7" Aiden again followed up with "8!" We were SO excited! I'm not really sure how he picked up on this. Most of the time when we count with him we only get to 5. I'm guessing he picked up on it while we were working on numbers with Ryann this past weekend. He is truly amazing!!

Happy Labor Day!!!

Yay a day of total laziness! We spent most of our day at Gamma and Papa’s house. The kids where thrilled to get to spend some time with their grandparents. Aiden talks about his Papa no less than twice a day. Something tells me these two will have an unbreakable bond one day. Gamma got out some of her water colors and let the kids go to town. They (all three of them) had a blast! Then she helped them start on some Halloween crafts! Ryann was happy to cut and glue!

Adam and I enjoyed sitting on the couch, watching the SVU marathon. After a few hours it was time to take Ryann back to her mommy. We were all sad to see her go, and can’t wait till she is here again! I made these overalls for Ryann last night, what do you think?

Embracing our creative side

The whole family sat down after dinner and did a little painting. Ryann was SO excited when we told her we were going to paint after she finished eating, that she actually quite talking, (for the fist time since we picked her up) so she could hurry up and finish her meal. We all had a great time. This was Aiden's first experience with paint. He did a really great job. Only tasted it once. LOL! Ryann and Aiden both painted a couple of 'masterpieces', but the best one of all was on the side of Aiden's head.....

Ryann had an awesome two weeks at school. She came home everyday with a smiley in her folder! We asked if she had any friends, she told us yes. I asked if she had a best friend and she said her name was Adrian, and that she had brown hair. Ryann seems to really be enjoying school. She asks to read every book she sees. Since she did do SO well her first two weeks she got to go to Target and spend some of her money. She picked out a cute little Polly Pocket set. She was super excited when she got to pay for it all by herself!

Hope you're all enjoying your long weekend as much as we are!

Aiden's first hair cut!!

Okay, so it was just a trim! The back of his hair was getting a bit too long for Mommy's taste. We got the scissors out and took off a few curls. To my surprise I was a little sad when it was all said and done. We'll take him soon to get the top trimmed up a bit - I didn't trust myself to do that part. Daddy didn't really want to cut them off, but they really needed to go. I think after a few days he'll be happy we did it, and if not - those curls will grow back! Seriously, Aiden has no choice; he is going to have CURLY hair.

before...

...after!

Bye-bye curls!!
