Catching Up

Sorry, I've been REALLY bad at keeping up with this thing lately. I FINALLY got all those pictures up that I've been promising for like a month!
Here are a few of my favorites....

These were from Taryn's party. The kids had a wonderful time. The girls put on a "fashion show" and dance. Of course Aiden couldn't be left out. Aunt Adrian turned my sweet little boy into a mean biker dude... isn't he adorable?!

I just HAD to dress up baby "D" she is so sweet - looks like a doll in these to me!

Just an adorable picture of Ryann I *had* to share.

Adam and I had a REAL date night Friday. We don' t do this much, we just can't squeeze them in very often - but here we are!

Believe me there are MANY, many more picture; go have a look for yourself.

Adam, Aiden and I headed out west for Jennifer and John's wedding this weekend. It was a long trip, but Aiden handled it like a champ. This was our first long trip since we declared him potty trained and he did awesome! Even with LONG naps both days, we still have a dry car seat!!! So, back to the reason for our trip; the wedding. It was beautiful!! The historic building where they had the wedding was stunning. Jennifer was a beautiful bride! Aunt Brenda and Uncle Frank looked amazing too. It was the first time I ever saw my uncle so dressed up, he looked so handsome. We were so happy to be apart of their special day. Here are just a few pictures, again LOTS more in our albums. I feel like a HUGE dork, I didn't get any pictures of my grandma, or my other Aunt.... sorry, maybe next time!

Oh, did I mention how much Aiden LOVES to dance at weddings?
I've been busting my bottom TRYING to get caught up on the kids scrapbooks - I don't know if that is every really going to happen, but I have cranked out some pages that I LOVE and that I'm pretty proud of! Remember I'm a little behind... so these are Aiden during the first half of 2006, enjoy!

You have-a get big, you too small

Aiden loves to talk, and he LOVES to tell me and his big sister that we are too small. "No, you can't you too small - let me, I'm very strong." He also loves talking about "when I was your size". I think I get to hear every day, "Mommy, when I was your size I could....." He cracks me up!

I'm working on getting those pictures up that Ipromised....

brush 'em brush 'em

The kids visited the dentist this morning. We got pretty good reports, so I'm happy! Ryann has been doing a great job brushing, but the dentist suggested a change in diet. No sodas or juice and only sugar free gum and candy. She has two teeth that they are watching for cavities - that is why these changes are so important. I talked with Ryann about this, and she seems okay with it all. Her six year molars are working their way to the surface! She was SO good while getting her teeth cleaned, which is more than I can say for Aiden. Some how he got it in his head that they were going to take his teeth out. Not sure how that happened, so mommy had to hold him down while he got his teeth cleaned - good times!

The rest of our weekend was pretty much the norm. We did go to Taryn's birthday party, and that was fun! I've got lots of pictures from that and the rest of our weekend. I'll work on getting those up over the next few days.

We hope you are all doing wonderful!

WARNING!

Warning, this is going to be a post FULL of bragging....

Aiden is getting to be such a big boy. He surprises Adam and me daily. He uses words on a daily bases that shock us. Then he went and did this...

Aiden, Ryann and I were sitting at the table. Ryann was asking me to spell a few things for her so she could write a letter to her Daddy. I had a sheet of paper in front of me, I wrote Aiden's name on it. He then crawls in my lap with is own pen and paper and "copies" what I have written. I was BLOWN away. He did it a few times, all on his own. Isn't that awesome?!!!

Time marches on...

We welcome 2008! '07 really FLEW by! We had a wonderful year. Our family is happy and healthy, and really what else could we ask for?

It's been a while since our last update; let's see if I can get you caught up. We did all we could to make this Christmas season magical for the kids. Gamma took Aiden to see the trains at North Park. He really enjoyed himself.
We went to our play groups Christmas party. Aiden and I don't have the time to make it to many of the group’s events, but I'm really glad I made time for this. Aiden had a wonderful time playing with all the kids.
Christmas Eve we went to dinner, Church and then took Aiden to look at Christmas lights. It was a wonderful night, but Christmas just didn't feel like Christmas until we picked up Ryann Christmas Day. Seriously the moment she got in the car and we headed to Papa and Gamma's house it REALLY felt like Christmas. The kids, Adam and I were SPOILED by Gamma and Papa; we are so blessed to have them in our lives! We came home Christmas night and got ready for Santa's special trip. The kids put out milk and cookies for that jolly fat man, and we all headed to bed. We woke up to Ryann jumping up and down at the side of the bed, "Santa came, Santa came, come see all the presents!!! Aiden, Santa came!!!!!" It was SO sweet. Santa brought Ryann the dog she has been wishing for. I was so upset I didn't get her reaction on camera. I was struggling to get the thing started when she found it, "Oh, Daddy look - This is JUST what I wanted, Santa brought just what I asked for, I'm so happy I got everything I wanted!!!" I really sat back and enjoyed watching the kids experience Christmas this year. I of course took pictures, but not like I normally do. I wanted to really enjoy them; enjoying them - so the pictures are not the best - but I have the best memories, and video. Aiden was excited about everything. This was his first year to really understand what was going on, but I do think he was a tiny bit overwhelmed with it all.
Late that night we headed to Aunt Kay's where we were spoiled again! Adam's family is the most giving group of people you could ever meet.

Since then we've been enjoying our time together as a family, breaking in some of those new toys.

We hope you all had a wonderful Holiday, and Happy New year!!!
TONS of new pictures up!
Take care!!

4.0 still intact!

Grades were posted today; Adam found out that his 4.0 is still intact. He is just under half way through with this degree. I'm not at all shocked/ surprised, but I am very proud. Adam has managed to find a way to balance taking care of his family, work and school – and excel at all three! Just six more classes and he'll be all done! We are so proud of you sweetie!!

One "Christmas" down!

Ryann was home this past weekend. Was I the only one who thought those two days FLEW by?! I hate when our weekends with her feel that way. It's like before we know it we're dropping her off, and I'm thinking to myself weren't we JUST here? BUT, Christmas break is just around the corner; and she will be here for almost two weeks!

Saturday morning Aiden had his last day of reading school for this session. His teacher said he did great! Scored a 100% on everything. She seemed rather impressed with his language skills, telling us that he is sure to have an easy time with that part next session. So his mommy and daddy were beaming with pride! Next session they will begin blending sounds, and actually do a tiny bit of reading!! I'm so excited, I can hardly wait!
He'll finishes up swim school this week. I have been blown away at what he has learned, and how quickly. He actually swam the length of the small pool last week. He has learned to swim a little ways, then come up for a breath and continue. I got video... just need to figure out how to get it on here.

Saturday night we had our "Fuson Christmas" at our home. We all had a wonderful time! It really felt like Christmas. We had a TON of food and fun. The kids got some great gifts and more importantly, got to spend time with their Aunts, Uncles and cousins. I really wish we had more time to get together as a family, but life is crazy busy; so I guess we'll settle for holidays and birthday. Although with eight cousins, we could potentially get together once a month!

I'm being totally lazy, so if you want to see pictures from Saturday you're going to have to go to our albums and take a look.

We hope you are all doing great!
Happy Holidays!!!

Burrr!

We visited the ICE! Exhibit at the Gaylord yesterday. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! We prepared pretty good for the below freezing temps, so we really were not that cold. It's hard to believe all of this is carved from ice.

Here we are sliding down the ice slide.... that was fun :)

Aiden was in a great mood, and ready to take in the sights; so we were able to walk all over the hotel taking in all the wonderful Christmas decor. Aiden said his favorite part were all the really cool trains.

Christmas came a little early; Aunt Kay bought Aiden this totally cool scooter!

It was a wonderful day, and really got us into the Christmas spirit!

Believe it or not, I didn't share all the pictures we took, so to see more; check out our photo albums.

MIA

I've been sick for what seems like FOREVER. I am starting to finally feel "normal", so that's good!
Ryann was home again this past weekend. She brought her report card with her. She seems to be doing really well. We are not at all surprised, but proud none the less.

Aiden is doing really great in reading school. See what he has learned to do....

Yes, he wrote these all by himself!!!
Aiden is also doing really great at swim lessons. He is now able to swim a few feet on his own!! We are so proud, and looking forward to summer!!!
Aiden visited Santa, and let him know EVERYTHING he wanted for Christmas. Ryann is still very unsure of the fat man. Oh well; maybe next year.
I guess that gets everyone caught up. We're pretty boring these days.
We hope you are all doing great!

Christmas Exploded!

I don't have much to say about Thanksgiving. I was sick and spent most of the day in bed. We went to Gamma and Papa's house, and that was really nice. The kids just loving getting to spend time with their grandparents, and Adam and I feel pretty blessed that they are so close and get to do so pretty often.

As the title reads, Christmas exploded at our house. Technically it exploded this time last week. I love watching the kids decorate the tree, to watch the excitement come over their face; and then the rest of those little bodies is just so fun! So we just HAD to do it last week while Ryann was here to be apart of the festivities!

One of our traditions is taking the kids to pick out a new ornament every year. Our big tree is themed, and I really wanted the kid’s ornaments to reflect who they are now, so I got them their own little tree. They had a blast decorating it.

This year was Ryann's year to put the star on top of the big tree, and she was SO excited....

Aiden put the star on the kid’s tree.

Daddy crawled on the roof and got the lights up. We still have a little work to do to get the rest of the yard finished, but all in all we are ready for the fat man at this house! I'm SOOOO close to having all my shopping done too!

LOTS of new pictures up, go check out when you get the chance!

Ryann's first BIG girl Hair cut!!

If you've been keeping up, Ryann's hair has changed quite a bit over the past few weeks. Take a look at her hair in my last post, see how LONG it was? We took Ryann in for her first ever big girl hair cut today. They ended up needing to cut off about four inches. I have to be honest; it hurt to watch all that hair fall to the floor. The end result is great though! They trimmed up her bangs. She looks SO adorable. I like the shorter hair, with all those curls it sure does make brushing/fixing it SO much easier!

These are the only pictures we have so far of her big girl cut, more to come!

We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

How cute are our kids?!!

I took the kids to the park this morning, and they were nice enough to let me snap this cute picture of them! (Check out how LONG Ryann's hair is!)

I'm working on getting pictures uploaded to our site, so check that when you get a chance.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

The "new" Ryann....

She looks SO different with bangs!!

Wednesday, November 14, 2007

Snip, snip

Ryann has reached that age.... yep; she cut her hair this past week. Then she cut her little sister, Kamri's. We haven't seen her yet, just got word via email. So be prepared.... she has bangs! I was right around her age when I cut my big sister's hair, while she was sleeping. Remember that Kim? I'll post pictures as soon as we get her Friday.

Have a wonderful week!

The Holidays are here!!!

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away?! My gosh this year seems to have FLOWN by!!

Things are busy busy at the Nabors' home. We haven't seen Ryann in a few weeks, but she'll be here this weekend, and we can hardly wait!

Aiden is doing wonderfully! He can now right the letters A, X, and T. He knows all his vowels, and is practically swimming on his own! He is growing up WAY to fast! Someone please tell me how to slow him down!!

Early in the week Jenny and her adorable kiddos, Chandler and Elizabeth came for a visit. It was so great to see them! Our visit just wasn't long enough. Aiden loved having Chandler here to play with.

Adam is busy with work and school. He'll be gone the week following Thanksgiving for work. This trip is coming up too soon for me, I feel like he JUST got back. But it's just for four days, I think Aiden and I can manage.

I guess that's about it for now. Sorry, no new pictures. I'll get to work on that.
Hope you are all doing great!

Happy Halloween!!!

Aiden and I had a wonderful Halloween this year! It was just the two of us again, Daddy had school. We went to our friend Jamie's house, ate dinner and played, then headed out with some friends to do some trick-or-treating. Aiden thought that was the MOST fun! It didn’t' take him long to get the hang it, so I was able to stand at the curb and let him go up with his friends to get the candy. It was SO cute, because he said "trick or treating" not trick or treat. Here are a few pictures from our night.

Afterwards we went to Aunt Kay's and then to one of Aiden's all time favorite places, Starbucks; and got a drink and some fruit.

We hope you all had a great night!
