Or so I hear. My friend Monique and I go to the gym every morning. She has a four year old little girl, who Aiden gets along with fabulously. Monique called me yesterday to let me know Lilly, (her daughter) told her Aiden was Lilly's boyfriend. Lilly told her mom, "Aiden is a really good kid, and he likes to play in the rain with me". "He is my boyfriend." How cute is that?!
We don't know much new. Aiden is doing great in swim school. He has already made some progress, we are so proud of him! Gymnastics is still going great! He still looks forward to going every week, and hates when class ends.
Aiden will start "reading school" this weekend. We are so very excited! It's the Little Texas Scholars Early Childhood Reading Center. They teach kids as young as three to read. We would love if that could happen, but are just excited to have him in a class room setting. We thought about putting him into a preschool class, but he already knew everything they were going to be teaching. We just couldn't see paying someone to reinforce, when I'm home with him already to do that. In this class he will learn things, that I have NO clue how to tech him at this age. Plus, it will give Mommy and Daddy some much needed time together - interruption free! We can hardly wait!
Ryann will be back home with us this weekend. We haven't had her for a few weeks, and it's beginning to wear on us all. We miss her Soooooo much! We can't wait to hear all about school, and what she is learning, and about all the new friends I'm sure she has made.
Expect LOTS of new pictures from this weekend. Have a great one!

Ashelynn's FIRST Level FIVE meet!!!!!!
This is a copy of the email Jennifer sent out. If you would like Jenn's contact info please let me know. Also, if you would like to go; but don't want to drive let me know - we might be able to car pool.
Well, our little athlete has surpassed all the coaches' expectations and will be competing in the first level 5 gymnastics competition of the season after all! Originally, we didn't expect her to compete until the spring, because typically new level 5's take at least a semester just to master the skills and learn the routines. But then a few weeks ago, her coach said that Ashelynn was making such awesome progress that she would probably get to compete in maybe the last half of> the fall season. To my surprise, I received an e-mail from the coach today saying that she> is ready to compete in the first meet, which is August 25 in Plano. I don't have times yet, but will let you know as soon as I do.
I'm so proud of her because the coach said that very few girls make such progress so quickly and it's almost unheard of to be> ready for competition so soon after moving up levels. YAY ASHELYNN!!
Anyway - as usual, Ashelynn would love to see all her supporters in the stands, so let me know if you can make it. I'll send out the times as soon as I get them.

Busy busy!
I don't think I've ever gone this "long" with out an update on here before. It hasn’t' been because there are no updates, but rather we've been far to busy to post. I don't even know where to start!
I guess biggest news first, Uncle Brent graduated!!!!!! It's a few days later, and we can officially call him Coach Nabors. How cool is that?!! Brent will be teaching ninth grade English and coaching soccer. Can you think of a better job for him? We are all so proud of Brent!
Aiden officially moved up to the level one class at gymnastics tonight. He did pretty well, better than I expected. This was his first class with his new coach(s) and Gamma and GG came to watch. I think he was a tiny bit preoccupied with that during parts of the class. Over all though he did very well.
As I said before, we've been busy. Ryann's had soccer games the past two Sundays. She is doing great. Still a little afraid of the bigger girls, but doing good; and most important having a wonderful time! We took the kids skating earlier this week. That was fun. Ryann got some inline skates for her birthday and couldn't wait to learn to use them. I don't have any pictures, but after a half hour or so she was doing it all by herself!!!! She and Aiden had so much fun; I think we'll try to go back later this week. Monday we went back to the water park. It was a blast! This time Carson and Cambree joined us. Adam was glade to have someone to ride all the big rides with, and Ryann was tickled pink to have a girl "her size" to ride with. Aiden was just happy to be in the sun and water! Adam and I are also in the middle of painting the house. I've decided I hate painting. I'll be so happy when we are finished! It looks great, but I'll be thrilled if I never see another gallon of paint, brushes, tape - you get my point!
Ryann's last soccer game is Saturday at three. We are still trying to get things worked out so we can have some type of celebration for her before/after the game. I'll email with details as soon as we get that figured out.
I FINALLY got all of July's pictures up. I really slacked off in the picture taking area the last few months. I'll try to do better! You'll also notice the link for Ryann's photos. Ryann got her first digital camera for her birthday, and this is where I'll store all of the pictures she takes. You can now see the world through Ryann's eyes. I don't think I like that camera much, I swear I look 15lbs heavier in the pictures. I should have some to add tomorrow. The kids are staying the night with Gamma and Papa, and they are going to the aquarium; Ryann was sure to grab her camera.
I guess that's it for now. We hope you are all doing great!

Little Gymnast!!
Tonight was Aiden's first night to go through his gymnastics class with out me. It was so hard for me to stand back, far enough that he couldn't see me; and not help. He proved that he didn't need my help - which made it that much harder. He followed the circuit perfectly. He did everything that was asked of him. He did have a hard time "following the rules" in the music circle, but his coach and I both think it's because he is bored. Unfortunately every class has it, so it is something he will need to learn to deal with. His coach said she feels completely comfortable moving him up to the level one class. I decided to hold off on it for a few more weeks. I want to be sure that tonight wasn't a fluke, and that he is truly ready. That will also give me some time to get "ready". I'm so very proud of my big boy, but a little heart broken at the same time. It's very bittersweet.
Tonight was Ryann's last night of gymnastics. She told me she is really going to miss going. She explained in great detail the things she would miss the most. The foam pit and the bars were at the top of her list. I'm sad to see it end, mostly because I didn't get ONE picture of her in class. My camera was in Adam's car tonight. Can you guys believe Ryann will be starting KINDERGARTEN in just a few weeks?????? That is just CRAZY!!! I took her in for her five year well check last week. She got a great report. We all thought Ryann was thin and tall, but turns out she is exactly on the "average" line. She has gotten so big that we had to buy her a larger car seat. This one will hold a child up to 65lbs.... that should hold her till she graduates High School, lol!!!
Both kiddos saw the dentist on Monday. Great report there too. For the first time Aiden did not like getting his teeth cleaned. I had to hold him down, which was hard; that kid is STRONG! The appointment ended well, hope he does better when they go back in January.

Soccer, birthday, and more!
Let’s see, since our last post Ryann has had two soccer games. She is continuing to do great! She took a good spill at today’s game. But was back in the game after a short water break.
Gymnastics is going great. This week will be Ryann's last. I think she is really going to miss it. The gym decided to have Aiden try to follow his current class with no help from me. Once he is comfortable following the circuit completely alone he will move up to the next level.
My 25 birthday was Friday. I am so SPOILED!!!!!! Let’s just say I married the most wonderful man in the whole world! He knows me so well, and always knows just what to get me. That goes for the whole Nabors' clan. I am so very blessed to have these wonderful people in my life!!!
We took the kids for their first visit to a water park earlier this week. We all had a blast! Aiden woke up the next morning asking, "Can I go back to the water park??" We will defiantly make another trip before the summer is up. I guess that is it. I've got some pictures I need to get up, but I'm far too sleepy tonight. We hope you are all doing well. Enjoy the hot, rain free days ahead!!!!

BAD Photographer!!
I know I promised to get pictures of Ryann at gymnastics tonight, but I forgot my camera. Life seems to be working that way a lot these days! I would forget my head if it weren't attached!! Gymnastics went great! Ryann had an awesome time!! Her coach said she is really doing very well. With her birthday just around the corner she could move up to a level two, but since she is only here for the summer, I thought it best to keep her right where she is. She likes her coach, and is very comfortable with her class... no need to jerk the rug out from under her, ya know?
Now, onto BRAGGING about our baby boy.... I've thought from the beginning that he really seemed to be a natural at this whole gymnastics thing. Seems his coach agrees. Typically Aiden isn't supposed to move up to the next level, (level one, the class Ryann is now in) until he turns three - which is seven months away. His coach is going to talk to the powers that be about getting him moved to the next level. He has become too advanced for his class (her words!). If they say no, because he is so far from turning three; she is going to begin working with him on level one activity on her own. I can't decide what would be best. Once he moves up to the next level, it will no longer be a parent involved class. I know he would be fine with that, but I'm really going to miss our Tuesday nights. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the gym decides would be best.
Tomorrow morning we'll head to art class, then off to Mesquite to meet Ryann’s mommy. She'll return on Friday the 13, one year older! Then Saturday is the party. Ryann is SOOOOOOO excited!!! Sunday is her soccer game; then life is back to its same old "boring" self.
We hope you are all doing great!

It's July, already?!!
Where did the time go?! We have been so busy. Let’s see, Ryann's had two games since my last post. She is doing so great. You'll notice by the pictures she is making more contact with the ball at each game. She is so cute. Before each game she sets a goal to do something better than she did the week before and that seems to be working. Ryann really enjoys getting to play soccer. After each game she has said she can't wait to play again. She asks all week long when her next game is, it's too cute!
The fourth was great! We went to see the fire works in Southlake again. They were beautiful. The kids had a great time. I remembered my camera, but forgot my memory card - so no pictures!
Ryann started gymnastics last week. She loved it. It's great that it is something that both kids can look so forward to. I'm going to take my camera this week and try to get some pictures of her.
I think that pretty much catches everyone up. Friday is Ryann's FIFTH birthday, and she couldn’t be more excited. We're having her party here on Saturday. It's going to be so much fun! All her girl friends will get here at one for a glamour party. The rest of the guest will show up at three for cake, ice cream, gifts and all that other good stuff.
Hope you are all doing great!
Oh, and just a reminder; Ryann's soccer games move to Sunday for the next four weeks.

Wonderful weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend! Adam, the kids and I had a picnic at the Botanic Gardens. It was a BEAUTIFUL day ~ It was made for spending some quality family time outside. We ate, and then Adam and the kids played soccer. It was a wonderful time!! This was my mother's day, since Ryann was not with us last weekend. I couldn't have thought up a better way to spend my afternoon.

That evening we headed to Denton to watch Ashelynn at her first State comp. She did AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! She will be moving up to level 5 next week. We also found out what a little smarty Miss. Ashelynn is too. She is finishing up the third grade, which means she took the TAKs exam. She scored a 100 on the reading section and a 99 on the math! She is being urged by her teachers to join the math team. She said she is thinking about it. I mean this girl got it all ~ looks, athletic talent, and brains!

Over all she scored a 35.125 out of a possible 40 - she is amazing!
Lots of new pictures up! LOTS of the kids at the gardens and just about all of Ashelynn's meet. The pictures from the meet start on pg22 in the May folder. A lot of them are pretty blurry because I couldn't use a flash, and my battery was just about gone.
Hope you all have a wonderul week!
