Natural Talent..

Ashelynn's got it where gymnastics is concerned! Adam and I went to watch her compete for the very first time. She did an AMAZING job! Her coach told Jennifer that she would probably perform at her very worst, because of nerves, and what not; boy was she wrong!!! Every time she would perform I would get all teary, she made us all VERY VERY proud! I can't remember what she scored on the beam, but she got an 8.8 on the bars, and 9.1 on the floor and 8 on the vault. She did awesome!!! Here are a couple of pictures, to see more check out photo albums. (A lot of them are blurry, because we could not use flash photography for obvious reasons.)

Adam is loving being back in school. It's taken me back to when we were dating, I watch TV - he studies...

Ryann is doing great! Beautiful as ever! Aiden is doing very well too. He is still in diapers, but slowly using less and less of them. He woke up from his nap the other day to use the potty, and then went back to bed. We are so proud. New words/sayings fly out of his mouth daily. Last night he was "playing" I spy in the car. It was the first time we ever heard him use the word something. He is so funny! Kay asked him, "Would you like a bite of my...." his reply was "No, I would not" - how funny is that?!!

Hope you're all doing great!

We got SNOW!

And not the usual Texas ice, but real SNOW! The kids and I had a blast playing in it. It was awsome to open the front door and see everything covered in white. Ryann and Aiden both were amazed. They made snow castles, and we built our first tiny snow man. Lots of fun! We are ready for some warmer weather, it stinks being stuck at home all the time.

New pictures up!

It's COLD!

Burr, it's cold!! I hate when it's this cold! We picked up Ryann Friday, and had to spend the whole weekend coupe up inside. I was really looking forward to watching her play in our big yellow ball. I guess I can wait. She is really looking forward to playing with it. As I said we've spent most of the past few days hanging out at home. Papa and Gamma came by for a visit on Saturday before the weather got too bad. It was great to see them. The kids always have so much fun with them!

We took the kiddos to the dentist this morning. It was a SLOW drive, but we made it. Both kids got pretty good reports. We're still waiting on Aiden's two year molars to come in. Because his mouth is so wet, he had plaque build up on the back side of his bottom teeth. We'll start flossing, and that should take care of it. Other than that his teeth look great! Ryann has two teeth that the dentist is keeping a close eye on. Then there is her under bit, but all those things will be dealt with at the appropriate time.

Because of this yucky weather Ryann will not be going back to her Mommy's as planned. She is going to be with us the rest of this week! We are THRILLED! Very nice after not seeing her for three weeks. She continues to grow and amaze. You just can't believe how smart and beautiful she is!

Aiden is doing great too. He had another big step in potty training over the weekend. He had on underwear, and instead of telling us he needed to potty he went and sat on it all by himself! He forgot to pull down his underwear, but we are still proud! Baby steps! LOL!!

Adam starts back to school tomorrow. I think he's pretty excited too.
We hope you’re all doing great!

I'll get new pictures up ASAP!

Our little gymnast!

Okay, so maybe not. Aiden is doing incredibly well though! He gets SO excited if I even mention the word gymnastics. It makes us so happy to know that he really enjoys his class. Daddy got to go again tonight, so we were finally able to get some pictures. Check out our albums to see more.

Sunday we helped celebrate Taryn's 7th birthday... still can't believe that's even possible! We all had a great time. Aiden got to skate for the first time! He LOVED it!! We had them tighten the wheels, so it was more like walking than skating. It was easy to see just how proud he was of himself. I forgot my camera, but Jennifer let me borrow her camera to get a couple. I'll be sure to share those as soon as I get them.

Aiden is continuing to do great with potty training. Since our last post he has had a few accidents, but that is to be expected. It's so hard to believe that my BABY is doing these things!!

Ryann will be here for the long weekend, and we can't wait! She's been gone for almost three weeks, and it's wearing on all of us :( We'll have her two weekends in a row so that'll help! She continues to grow and get more grown up every time we see her.

Life continues to be BUSY, and we are loving every minute of it! Adam starts school next week. I have no doubt at how well he is going to do!

I think that's all for now. Take care!!

Proud Mommy!

Aiden has been potty training for some time now. We haven't pushed him very hard, for many reasons - the biggest being we want him to do it when he is ready. He wears underwear when we are home. Lately he has been asking more and more to use the potty on his own. He has done so great - having very few accidents. So I decided to have him wear his underwear while we were out running errands today. I packed an extra change of clothes, not really knowing what to expect. He did AWSOME! We were out all morning, in the car for long periods of time, and NO accidents! YAY!!! He even came to me during play time and let me know he needed to potty. I understand that the days that follow may not go this smoothly, but we are rejoicing in his big step toward throwing out those diapers!!!

**UPDATE** As of eight o'clock when Aiden crawled into bed, he had an accident FREE day!!!! YAY AIDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!***

Christmas is really over...

We got the last of our Christmas presents last night. Kay had ordered this gift, and it took this long to arrive. We really wish Ryann could have been here for our first time playing with it. We had a wonderful time. This is one of the funnest toys I've ever played with!!!!
New pictures up!

Adjusting to life in '07

Today was our first 'normal' day of '07. Adam returned to work, working the day shift. Aiden and I both hated it! It was nice having him here in the morning... we'll miss that. Aiden woke up asking for his Daddy. On the other hand he'll be here for dinner and bed time, and that’s nice too! (Wish we could have him home w/ us all day, all the time!) Daddy got to go to gymnastics with us tonight, and that was GREAT! Aiden really loved him being there. He gave his daddy a good show! Adam will get to go again next week, but the following week he'll be in school.

Left, right, left, right - Aiden knows the difference. He has officially mastered this task! New and FUNNY phrases pop out of his mouth almost hourly! LOL!!! He told me, (jokingly) "Go away!" Now when you call for him you get, "I'm coming" in return. If you ask him a question and the answer requires some thought he starts out with "um". I know I'm forgetting TONS, but he is growing and changing SO fast, it's just too hard to keep you all caught up.

Ryann called to wish us a Happy New Year; it sure was nice to hear her sweet little voice. We miss her SO much when she is gone! Aiden got to talk to her when she called. He said "hello Sissy". She said hello back. Aiden said "I miss you" then on the other end we hear, "Did you say I miss you? That's so sweet - (you're) such a big boy!" Isn't that the cutest?!

By now most of you should be back at work, and life is back to normal. Hope you're all enjoying it!

Good morning 2007!

WOW, is anyone else thinking - where did the time go?! Last year FLEW by SO fast, I guess because we had so much going on. Ryann is now 4 1/2 attending school! She is growing too fast to keep up. Aiden will turn two in February! He is growing and changing so much!! We moved into our first home! Adam decided to return to school. My photography business is keeping me busy. Life is good! We brought in the new year with a nice dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, followed by a quiet evening at home. This year promises to be a busy one! Adam will be MIA every Tuesday and Thursday starting late January. He will leave from work, and go straight to school. By the time he makes it home, Aiden and I will be heading to bed. It's going to be tough, but we'll make it. We didn't make resolutions this year; actually I'm not sure I ever have. But, if you did we wish you all the luck!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Why Mommy?

This is one of the newest phrases to escape my baby boy's mouth! I think it's hilarious! He is growing into a little boy so fast! He already LOVES to take off his underwear and run through the house w/ a huge smile on his face, again part of me thinks it's hilarious! He keeps us laughing over here. He already has a great personality, and a wonderful sense of humor. He likes to get on his hands and knees and chase Adam, "I'm donna dit you Daddy!" It is so cute!

He is learning new things so fast, we can't keep up. The other day we went to Old Navy. While I was checking out Adam and Aiden were talking. Adam was asking him what the letters were on the floor. He knew A and O - that wasn't surprising, but he also knew D; which we didn't know he knew! He does little things like that to shock us all the time it seems!

Aiden is doing wonderfully w/ potty training. He can wear underwear all day w/ out any accidents on most days. We still aren't pushing too hard, giving him the chance to do it on his own. He hardly ever poops in his pants anymore!! They grow up SO fast!

We're enjoying having Daddy home this week. Spending LOTS of time playing with our new toys, and just having 'down' time together. We're ready for the holidays to be over so Aiden can return to gymnastics. He has missed it so!

I guess that's about it for us! Hope you are all doing great!

Merry Christmas!!!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! I can't believe it's already time to bring this year to a close!

We had a WONDERFUL Christmas! The celebrating started Christmas Eve at Aunt Kay's house. She SPOILED us this year. It took bringing my truck to haul all the gifts home and Adam's car to bring him and the kid’s home!! We got WAY too many things to list, but the highlights: a pink Kitchen Aid standing mixer for Mommy, a GPS thing for Daddy, Spiderman 4-wheeler for Aiden, and a HUGE kitchen for little Ryann. After we opened gifts came the YUMMY food!!! Then "drinks" and dessert.

We came home and played for a while. Daddy read the kids the Night before Christmas

Then we put out cookies for good Ol Saint Nick!

Santa was very good to us all! The kids got more stuff than they could ever want! Santa brought a small jump house, wagon and some other goodies! Mommy and Daddy got Aiden some drums, and Ryann a baby station, along w/ other goodies! My WONDERFUL hubby surprised me with the thing I wanted MOST - a bike and trailer to pull the kids in! I still have no clue how he got out of bed, set it up and didn't wake me - sneaky sneaky!!

After playing at home it was off the Gamma and Papa's home! More yummy food, and great gifts! We all got SO much stuff! I got the long pink coat that I've been drooling over!

It was a very Merry Christmas! We got to keep Ryann till the 26th, we hated that she didn't get to see her Mommy and sister on Christmas, but because of other family planning conflicts this was just the way it HAD to work :( We dropped her off yesterday; I know she was happy to see that side of family!

Adam's off till after the first! We get some MUCH needed family time before he heads back!

We hope you are all doing great!

Santa Clause is coming to town!

And Ryann CAN'T wait! She has a count down going on her calendar, it's very cute. I love that she is finally old enough to really understand what's going on. I asked her the other night, "Do you know why we celebrate Christmas?" She said, "No" I told her, "it's Jesus' birthday" She then says, "We can't get HIM anything!" It really was funny. Aiden will tell you, Santa brings my toys! That's about as much as he cares to understand at this point.

We're going to be BUSY, BUSY over the next week or so. Tomorrow we'll start making our Christmas cookies. Ryann is really looking forward to that part. We've got things all ready for the big day!

Not a whole lot more to report. Life is hectic, but we're hanging in there. The kids are still growing too fast to keep up with. We've already started planning for Aiden's SECOND birthday, so mark you calendars for Feb. 17, 2007 @3pm. I can't believe how fast these almost two years have gone!

We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! We'll post some pictures over the next few days! Stay safe and warm!

LOTS OF LOVE,

Mommy, I love you!

Now tell me isn’t that the sweetest thing to hear! Aiden started saying those sweet, sweet words on his own today. He's been able to say it back for a long time now. Today we were in the car, and I hear, "Mommy", "what Aiden", "I ove YOU!!!" It made my heart melt! I wanted to pull over and give him a great big hug! He is talking up a storm these days. Most everything he says is very clear. Even people who don't know him, or spend much time with him understand most things he says.

Aiden is doing wonderfully in gymnastics. His coach has been very impressed with how quickly he has learned. He really loves going. When I tell him, "time to go to gymnastics" he throws his arms in the air and says, "whew-who! play! I want to jump!" (they start the class on the trampolines).

Christmas is right around the corner!!! Everyone is very excited, but I'm wondering - where did this year go?! Time has FLOWN!
We hope you're all doing great! Please be careful as your traveling during this busy time of the year.

Merry Fuson Christmas!!!!

We had our first Christmas celebration on Saturday. Some of the Fuson clan came over for good food, and great fun!!! It was so great to see everyone who was able to make it. It's crazy to think how much our family has grown - and so quickly! We are now up to EIGHT grandchildren! Colton, (the oldest) will be NINE next month!!! It seems like only yesterday he was Aiden's age!
I made my first and second turkey - they turned out really good! I was so scared I was going to ruin everything. I worried all day, but in the end everything was eatable! LOL!!! Everyone who came brought some yummy food too, so needless to say we'll be eating turkey, ham and brisket for the next week or so!
We were all so excited to have everyone over. Ryann asked ALL day when her cousins would get there. She couldn't wait to play with everyone! She told us 100+ times, "I want them to get here, I miss all my cousins SO much!" It was so nice to visit with everyone. We all live less than an hour apart, but life with kids keeps us too busy to visit very often. My cousin Jennifer and her boyfriend John were able to come this year, it was great to have them too! Uncle Frank and Aunt Brenda couldn't make it after all, we missed them; and hope to see them soon!!
The kids couldn't wait to open gifts! Ashelynn got to be "Santa" this year. Once she was done handing out gifts and I told the kids to tear in - they did! It was so funny; I wish we had video to share. It was like they had been waiting to open that first gift all their life... funny! Ryann and Aiden got some great gifts! After opening gifts we visited for a while longer, and then everyone headed home. We had a wonderful time visiting and playing with our family and can't wait to do it again!
After having Ryann for a little over three weeks, we took her back to her Mommy today. We were sad to see her go, but know she has missed her "other" family and was ready to go back. We'll pick up again real soon - she'll be her Christmas morning, and we can't wait!
New pix in our albums!

Wonderful big sister!!!

Aiden is the luckiest little boy in the whole wide world! He was blessed with a wonderful big sister. When they woke up from their nap today they asked to watch Bambi. Sometimes the thunderstorm scene scares Aiden. I heard him start to fuss, but I always try to let him work it out before rushing in to "save" him. Then I hear Ryann, "It's okay Aiden. Here, come sit behind Sissy, so you don't have to watch. It'll be over in just a second....... see it wasn't that bad, was it"? Is that not the SWEETEST thing EVER?!!!!! She is so loving! So sweet - you could just eat her up!!!!

Visiting Santa!!!

The kids went to visit Santa today. Ryann told us before we left the house, that she did not want to sit with Santa. We told her that was fine, turns out she didn't want to be anywhere near the big guy. Aiden on the other hand, has made a friend for life! He LOVED Santa! He sat there and let us take all the pictures we wanted.

We're off to see Happy Feet.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!!

ABCD......

Aiden's been working on getting down the alphabet song. For the longest he's just been able to sing A-G. Saturday night we were all sitting around the coffee table, talking and coloring. Ryann said something about her ABC's and Aiden sang the WHOLE song! Some of the letters he kinda 'melts' together, but he gets most of them in there! It's about the CUTEST thing ever! He has the sweetest little voice!! He is also learning to recognize written letters and numbers. He knows A very well, and the number 8 is getting easier. He blows us away!

We think Ryann has developed a slight case of motion sickness. When I picked her up a little over a week ago she got sick in the car on the way home. She told us that long rides in the car make her feel bad. Driving to see Gamma and Papa Yesterday morning - it happened again. Poor girl! After she throws up she feels better, so I guess that's a good thing. She is doing great! She is getting SO big! When ever Aiden starts doing something new we think about when Ryann started doing it too - seems SO long ago :(

We've got a busy week ahead of us, but it should be fun! Saturday we're having the "Fuson" Christmas at our house! It doesn't happen often, but both my brothers, my sister and I, (along spouse and children) will be under one roof! Our cousin Jennifer and her boyfriend John will also be joining us. Uncle Frank and Aunt Brenda maybe making the long drive from San Angelo to be with us too!!! We can't wait! There will be 19 of us!

Hope you are all doing great!

Baby it's cold outside!!!

BRRRR!!! WOW, you would never think that only yesterday it was 80+ outside! We are loving the change though! It is absolutely beautiful outside. A little too cold to really enjoy it, but beautiful! The kids did get to get out in it for a short while. They both LOVED it! This is Aiden's first time to see "snow", and I think it was love a first sight! Ryann liked it as long as it didn't get on her face. The minute I opened the door she took off running, and didn't really stop till we came in. (so not too many pictures of her).

Here is one of them in front of the tree....

Not much new to report. Ryann has been with us since last weekend and will be here until the 10th. We are so excited about this extended visit! She is amazing! Aiden had gymnastics Tuesday. He is doing amazingly well. His coach thought he was much older, she said he has caught on incredible fast. He got one of his stuffed animals this morning; Sam wears an A&M shirt. Aiden pointed to the A and said, "See, A". I was blown away! I had no idea he could recognize written letters!!!

Hope you are all doing great, stay warm!!! I'm going to try to talk Adam into lighting a fire tonight!

Transitioning....

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!! We sure did! Ryann knows how to eat herself through the holidays. LOL!!! We spent Thanksgiving Day with Gamma, Papa and the rest of the Nabors clan. Aiden entertained us all with his drumming/singing skills! He LOVES Uncle Brent's drums, and he LOVES to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star - those two things put together made for some great entertainment! I was able to get a lot of work done, the kids got to play with their Grandparents - and not much makes them happier! Adam got to eat and be lazy - it was a wonderful day for us all.

We came home early enough to get our tree put up/decorated. The kids had a blast!

Aiden got to put the star up this year. Our little boy is getting so big!!

This afternoon we put up the lights on the house. Ryann says, "It feels like Christmas here. I'm so excited about our tree, and presents!!!" We completed all our shopping, and have just about everything under the tree, which means we've already heard about a THOUSAND times, "I wanna open this one... It has MY name on it!" We still have tons to do to get the rest of the house "ready" for Christmas, but I have to agree with Ryann - it's starting to feel a little like Christmas!

We hope you're all doing great, and that you enjoyed your day(s) off for Turkey day!!!

So how did you celebrate the Aggies big win?!

Wednesday, November 22, 2006

The holidays are here!!!!!!!

Happy early Thanksgiving everyone!!!! We'll be at Gamma and Papa's tomorrow celebrating. Ryann CAN NOT wait, she has been asking her mom, when is Thanksgiving since Sunday.

We've been busy! Aiden started his gymnastics class at ASI last night. He did really great! It's amazing what they can teach such small kids. The only thing he didn't really like was the balance beam, but that's because he wanted to jump off it instead of walk on it ;) Ryann is also in tumbling and I think she likes it. She doesn't talk about it much, but she seems happy!

I can't wait for tomorrow to be over. I'm not a big fan of Thanksgiving; the day feels like it DRAGS to me. I'm planning on getting some work done, so that'll be good. My photography business is booming right now, which we are thrilled about! I have multiple shoots every weekend, and a few during the week. It makes for hectic times, but I do love it; so it's worth it. Not a whole lot to report, the kids are growing like weeds - shocking us everyday with how smart they are. Adam is still working second shift, but that should be ending pretty soon - just in time to start school! I'm busy with the house, Aiden, mom's group and work. Things are good, we have TONS to be thankful for this year - God has blessed us in so many wonderful ways!!!!

Kinda late but, Congrats to Patrick and Jayme on the purchase of their first home! We are so excited and can't wait to see it!!!

Another Congrats to the Ensey family who just welcomed new baby Elizabeth Marie into the world. Mommy and baby are both doing well. Jenny said this delivery was much eaiser than with Chandler!!! We love you guys, and are so happy for you - can't wait to meet her!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, PLEASE be careful if you plan on driving/flying for the holidays!!!!

Worst case of diaper rash.....

I've never seen it end up on someones head before!!!!
Yeah, leave it up to our son!! I was doing laundry, left him alone in our bathroom for MABYE a minute, and this is what I return to find! I walked back and he met me at the door, handed me the tin and said, "See - Mommy, medicine!" Adam said he's head must have itched! We've already washed his head four times and it still isn't out completely. You can't see it anymore, but if you touch it - well it just feels nasty!!! Anyone run into this problem before? I would LOVE some ideas on how to get it out!

Hope your day is going better than ours!!!
