Vacation, Day 4 - more pictures!!

We woke up early on day 4. We needed to eat some breakfast, and then catch the bus that was going to take us on our adventure!

Nacho, our tore guide picked us, and 6 others up and we were on our way! Our first stop was the lagoon, and inlet.. We started off in fresh water and moved to salt water. If the water had been less choppy we would have gone all the way out to the reef and had a chance to swim the the sea turtles. But, even though we didn't get to go that far, we went out a LONG ways, and saw lots of fish, barracuda and the biggest sting ray I have ever seen!! It was an amazing adventure, and the kids did so great! Ryann wasn't a huge fan of the salt water again, and she tired out but that was to be expected. We swam a LONG ways. She just isn't use to that type of physical activity. The tour guide was impressed with both kids, and congratulated Adam and I several time on our amazing little fish!

After we swam back up the lagoon, we got to rest for a few get a drink and then we were back on the bus to see something you can't see every day. The Yucatan has one of the largest underwater river systems, (the Xibaba cenote), and we got to snorkel in it! We seriously snorkeled in a cave... it was AWESOME. Cold, but awesome. We all loved this part of our tour.
Our next stop was another section of the cenote, with cliff diving, zip lines, and more snorkeling... we all had a wonderful time here. Adam and Aiden quickly became the entertainment for our group... they were doing flips, and fancy dives off the cliff jump, and going down zip line backwards - and doing flips.... fearless.

We finished up our adventure with an amazing lunch, and then it was back to the Palace for more fun in the sun at the beach/ pool.

^ Probably my favorite picture of the trip- scenery wise^

That night we headed out to dinner at one of the 5 star restaurants. A Brazilian Steak house.

Then back out the the shops to the the bulk of our shopping.
We stayed out very late, knowing that we had to head home the next day :(
This day was LONG, and oh so fun!!
