Vacation, Day 2!

The kids did not sleep in Thursday. They were so excited to get out and swim in the ocean. I think they woke up around 6:15am. We were able to keep them relaxed in bed until around 7. At that point we all got up, dressed and headed down for breakfast. After breakfast we took a little stroll on the beach. The kids wanted to walk on the beach after each meal…

Both the kids were so excited to go swimming in the ocean, so we went back to the room changed and out we went.
I just couldn’t stop taking pictures of the water/palm trees… it was so beautiful!!!!!!!!

I apologize for not having many pictures of our time at the beach. The water proof camera that held these pictures was lost, and this was when my SLR quit working.

Ryann was NOT a fan of the salt water. She hated that it kept getting in her mouth, and at one point it got in her goggles/eyes. So she didn’t enjoy her first swim in the ocean much. Luckily she was willing to stick it out, and we had a good hour-ish long swim. At which point we were all ready to hit the pool.
This time we hit up the kids’ water park. Ryann and Aiden had a blast!!!

We headed to lunch, finally with a working camera in tow again!

Ryann was a wonderful little photographer. I think she did a better job taking these 2 pictures than a grown up did taking the one of all 4 of us.

After lunch we hit the beach again, and everyone had a much better time!! (sorry no pictures)

We made dinner reservations at the 5 star seafood restaurant for Thursday night. We all got dolled up and headed to dinner. The restaurant was beautiful, and the food was AMAZING!

Again, the staff was awesome with the kids. Making them napkin hats to wear while eating dinner. LOL!!

We ended the night with a trip out to the market, and check out one of the other resorts, then back to our room for showers and bed. We were all exhausted after a fun filled day in the sun.

I'll be back soon with more pictures/play by play of the remaining days of the trip!
