Ryann has a new cousin!!!

Dean Alexander Davis arrived Friday August 31st at 1:10 a.m. Dean weighed 7.0 and was 20" long. Mommy and baby are doing great! They were able to return home just hours after the baby was born, how awesome is that?!!

Ryann has already met her baby cousin. I heard she didn't really know what to think of him at first... he was screaming and crying. Looks like it didn’t take any time for her to warm up to the little guy!!

Our Anniversary weekend...

Adam and I celebrated early this year. I think we've decided that this will be our annual celebration, a trip to College Station, a room at Messina Hof and an Aggie game. This was our second year, and it was an absolute BLAST! We started off with a trip to the book store on campus... boy, are we getting old! Then we headed over to visit Jenny and her brood. After that we checked into our room. It was beautiful! We then headed out to an Aggie soccer game. It was fun, our girls WON!!! We met up with some friends at North Gate, and then headed to Harry's. I swear I saw most of Normangee.... it was fun!

Saturday we did some more shopping, and then headed out to the game. We had awesome seats, thanks to Jason and Jennifer - thanks again guys! It was a great game! Then more fun out with friends. It ended too soon, that's for sure.

I was eager to get home to my baby! Although, he isn't much of a baby anymore. It's safe to say Aiden is potty trained. It's great, but very bittersweet; almost feels like he doesn't need me anymore. I know that isn't true, but it really feels that way....

Thanks for reading, check out all the pictures from our trip. Enjoy your Labor Day!

It's finally Friday...

And I just want to nap!!! Today was Adam's first full day at work this week. His allergies got the best of him, had him pretty out of it all week. I picked up Ryann late last night. By the time we made it home everyone was asleep. She was so out of it, when I asked her if she liked her new bed, she told me "I like it, but it's not new". Silly little girl! This morning she told me she loved it, and that it is really comfy. The kids and I went to a swimming play date this morning that was a lot of fun. I am so ready to start Aiden's swimming lessons next week. I think he is going to have a lot of fun!

The kids caught the ice cream man, for the first time since we moved her OVER a year ago! I had to stick them in the bath when they finished. Of course Aiden got the Spiderman pop, and Ryann picked the Power Puff girl. It was so cute; this was Aiden's first experience with the yummy goodness the ice cream truck brings.

We are pretty laid back this weekend, nothing planed till Sunday; when we'll watch Ashelynn at her first comp. I am SO EXCITED!!! She makes me cry, or at least tear up every time I watch her.

Monday is Ryann's first day of kindergarten! Her mommy is very impressed with the school and her teacher. More importantly, Ryann is super excited to start!!! I still can't believe she is this big already; it seemed to happen over night!!!

We hope you all have an amazing weekend!

When the circus comes to town.....

Daddy's home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We missed him so much this past week!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aiden, Kay and I went to the circus for our third year. It was so much fun. Ringling has made so many changes. We were thrilled! It is no longer a three ring circus; I swear you couldn't have gotten a bad seat. Ours were perfect, second row. Aiden sat amazed, well except when he was dancing his little heart out. He had cotton candy for the first time. He wasn't sure what to think about it at first, but soon realized how wonderful that stuff is! I added the pictures to our albums.

It's a week into potty training boot camp, and Aiden is doing great! He has had a few accident free days. He has also kept his diaper dry the past two days during nap. And he woke up with a dry one this morning!!! We are so proud of our little man. He will start swimming lessons next week. We are really excited about that!

Ryann is at her mommy's. She'll be back home with us Friday. We are so excited!!! We miss our little girl too much! She'll return to a surprise in her bedroom. Since she is staring Kindergarten on the 27, we thought it was a good time for a new big girl bed. Isn't it crazy that she is big enough for all these changes??

I guess that's it for now, we hope you are all doing wonderfully. Check out the new pix when you get the chance.
Lots of love!!

Ashelynn's FIRST Level FIVE meet!!!!!!

This is a copy of the email Jennifer sent out. If you would like Jenn's contact info please let me know. Also, if you would like to go; but don't want to drive let me know - we might be able to car pool.

Well, our little athlete has surpassed all the coaches' expectations and will be competing in the first level 5 gymnastics competition of the season after all! Originally, we didn't expect her to compete until the spring, because typically new level 5's take at least a semester just to master the skills and learn the routines. But then a few weeks ago, her coach said that Ashelynn was making such awesome progress that she would probably get to compete in maybe the last half of> the fall season. To my surprise, I received an e-mail from the coach today saying that she> is ready to compete in the first meet, which is August 25 in Plano. I don't have times yet, but will let you know as soon as I do.

I'm so proud of her because the coach said that very few girls make such progress so quickly and it's almost unheard of to be> ready for competition so soon after moving up levels. YAY ASHELYNN!!

Anyway - as usual, Ashelynn would love to see all her supporters in the stands, so let me know if you can make it. I'll send out the times as soon as I get them.

Warp Speed

We haven't slowed down yet! I forgot to add to my last post; Adam finished up the summer session with that A average still intact. Are you surprised, 'cause I'm not!

This past week seemed to fly by. With Ryann soon to return to her mommy, we just tried to have as much fun as possible. We went to the zoo, the carnival, swimming, skating.... you name it - we probably did it.

Yesterday was Ryann's last soccer game. We were all sad to see the season end, and Ryann to return home. Before the game we all met up for lunch at Double Dave's, followed by a small get together at our house, then we all headed to the game. Ryann played really well! She seemed so much more focused then she was at her passed two games.

I'm hoping things will slow down this next week. Adam is leaving in a few hours for a week. He'll be in Atlanta for work. It'll just be Aiden and mommy; we plan on hitting that potty training stuff pretty hard. It's been a challenge, when Ryann is here Aiden refuses to use the potty - he cries if you ask him to. When she is gone, he asks to wear big boy underwear. Ryann won't be back for two weeks, I'm hoping that is enough time for him to get settled into a "potty routine".

Anyways, that's us in a nutshell for now. We hope you are all doing wonderful! Check out all the new pictures when you get a chance! If you do get the chance to look at them, please know that Ryann and Aiden had water poured on their heads at the zoo - that isn't all sweat!

Busy busy!

I don't think I've ever gone this "long" with out an update on here before. It hasn’t' been because there are no updates, but rather we've been far to busy to post. I don't even know where to start!

I guess biggest news first, Uncle Brent graduated!!!!!! It's a few days later, and we can officially call him Coach Nabors. How cool is that?!! Brent will be teaching ninth grade English and coaching soccer. Can you think of a better job for him? We are all so proud of Brent!

Aiden officially moved up to the level one class at gymnastics tonight. He did pretty well, better than I expected. This was his first class with his new coach(s) and Gamma and GG came to watch. I think he was a tiny bit preoccupied with that during parts of the class. Over all though he did very well.

As I said before, we've been busy. Ryann's had soccer games the past two Sundays. She is doing great. Still a little afraid of the bigger girls, but doing good; and most important having a wonderful time! We took the kids skating earlier this week. That was fun. Ryann got some inline skates for her birthday and couldn't wait to learn to use them. I don't have any pictures, but after a half hour or so she was doing it all by herself!!!! She and Aiden had so much fun; I think we'll try to go back later this week. Monday we went back to the water park. It was a blast! This time Carson and Cambree joined us. Adam was glade to have someone to ride all the big rides with, and Ryann was tickled pink to have a girl "her size" to ride with. Aiden was just happy to be in the sun and water! Adam and I are also in the middle of painting the house. I've decided I hate painting. I'll be so happy when we are finished! It looks great, but I'll be thrilled if I never see another gallon of paint, brushes, tape - you get my point!

Ryann's last soccer game is Saturday at three. We are still trying to get things worked out so we can have some type of celebration for her before/after the game. I'll email with details as soon as we get that figured out.

I FINALLY got all of July's pictures up. I really slacked off in the picture taking area the last few months. I'll try to do better! You'll also notice the link for Ryann's photos. Ryann got her first digital camera for her birthday, and this is where I'll store all of the pictures she takes. You can now see the world through Ryann's eyes. I don't think I like that camera much, I swear I look 15lbs heavier in the pictures. I should have some to add tomorrow. The kids are staying the night with Gamma and Papa, and they are going to the aquarium; Ryann was sure to grab her camera.

I guess that's it for now. We hope you are all doing great!

Little Gymnast!!

Tonight was Aiden's first night to go through his gymnastics class with out me. It was so hard for me to stand back, far enough that he couldn't see me; and not help. He proved that he didn't need my help - which made it that much harder. He followed the circuit perfectly. He did everything that was asked of him. He did have a hard time "following the rules" in the music circle, but his coach and I both think it's because he is bored. Unfortunately every class has it, so it is something he will need to learn to deal with. His coach said she feels completely comfortable moving him up to the level one class. I decided to hold off on it for a few more weeks. I want to be sure that tonight wasn't a fluke, and that he is truly ready. That will also give me some time to get "ready". I'm so very proud of my big boy, but a little heart broken at the same time. It's very bittersweet.

Tonight was Ryann's last night of gymnastics. She told me she is really going to miss going. She explained in great detail the things she would miss the most. The foam pit and the bars were at the top of her list. I'm sad to see it end, mostly because I didn't get ONE picture of her in class. My camera was in Adam's car tonight. Can you guys believe Ryann will be starting KINDERGARTEN in just a few weeks?????? That is just CRAZY!!! I took her in for her five year well check last week. She got a great report. We all thought Ryann was thin and tall, but turns out she is exactly on the "average" line. She has gotten so big that we had to buy her a larger car seat. This one will hold a child up to 65lbs.... that should hold her till she graduates High School, lol!!!

Both kiddos saw the dentist on Monday. Great report there too. For the first time Aiden did not like getting his teeth cleaned. I had to hold him down, which was hard; that kid is STRONG! The appointment ended well, hope he does better when they go back in January.

Soccer, birthday, and more!

Let’s see, since our last post Ryann has had two soccer games. She is continuing to do great! She took a good spill at today’s game. But was back in the game after a short water break.

Gymnastics is going great. This week will be Ryann's last. I think she is really going to miss it. The gym decided to have Aiden try to follow his current class with no help from me. Once he is comfortable following the circuit completely alone he will move up to the next level.

My 25 birthday was Friday. I am so SPOILED!!!!!! Let’s just say I married the most wonderful man in the whole world! He knows me so well, and always knows just what to get me. That goes for the whole Nabors' clan. I am so very blessed to have these wonderful people in my life!!!

We took the kids for their first visit to a water park earlier this week. We all had a blast! Aiden woke up the next morning asking, "Can I go back to the water park??" We will defiantly make another trip before the summer is up. I guess that is it. I've got some pictures I need to get up, but I'm far too sleepy tonight. We hope you are all doing well. Enjoy the hot, rain free days ahead!!!!

In a blink of an eye....

She is FIVE! WHAT??!!! Does that seem crazy to anyone else? I'm sitting here thinking, where did the time go? When Adam and I started dating Ryann was eight months old - and now, she is the most beautiful, intelligent, confident, and amazing five year old I have ever met. I am blessed to be apart of her beautiful life.

We began celebrating by meeting Ryann, her mommy and sister at Planet Pizza on Friday. We had a wonderful time playing, eating, and just enjoying good company.

We brought Ryann home. She opened her gifts from Daddy, Aiden and me. She was then given the chance to pick where she wanted to have dinner. Ten minutes later we're at Chick-fil-a, (kids are so funny sometimes!) We came home and played with the new toys before putting the kids to bed. Then Daddy and I were up till a little after 12 getting the house all decorated for the party today.

Looks like a five year olds dream come true?

The girls got here at one, and the glamour party began!

Don't they look great?!!

Everyone one else arrived later.
We got some candy....

Some money.... (They had to bust the balloon w/ their rear to score some cash!)

Time for cake....

Then GIFTS!

I really feel like this was the best party ever! Ryann had a wonderful time. She got EVERYTHING off of her want list. We are going to be swimming in tiny Polly Pocket pieces, and babies that pee and poop, but Ryann is happy - and well, that's all that matters.

Huge thank you to each of you who sent well wishes, cards, gifts, money and of course those of you who could make it to the party. Ryann loves you all so very much!!!

BAD Photographer!!

I know I promised to get pictures of Ryann at gymnastics tonight, but I forgot my camera. Life seems to be working that way a lot these days! I would forget my head if it weren't attached!! Gymnastics went great! Ryann had an awesome time!! Her coach said she is really doing very well. With her birthday just around the corner she could move up to a level two, but since she is only here for the summer, I thought it best to keep her right where she is. She likes her coach, and is very comfortable with her class... no need to jerk the rug out from under her, ya know?

Now, onto BRAGGING about our baby boy.... I've thought from the beginning that he really seemed to be a natural at this whole gymnastics thing. Seems his coach agrees. Typically Aiden isn't supposed to move up to the next level, (level one, the class Ryann is now in) until he turns three - which is seven months away. His coach is going to talk to the powers that be about getting him moved to the next level. He has become too advanced for his class (her words!). If they say no, because he is so far from turning three; she is going to begin working with him on level one activity on her own. I can't decide what would be best. Once he moves up to the next level, it will no longer be a parent involved class. I know he would be fine with that, but I'm really going to miss our Tuesday nights. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the gym decides would be best.

Tomorrow morning we'll head to art class, then off to Mesquite to meet Ryann’s mommy. She'll return on Friday the 13, one year older! Then Saturday is the party. Ryann is SOOOOOOO excited!!! Sunday is her soccer game; then life is back to its same old "boring" self.

We hope you are all doing great!

It's July, already?!!

Where did the time go?! We have been so busy. Let’s see, Ryann's had two games since my last post. She is doing so great. You'll notice by the pictures she is making more contact with the ball at each game. She is so cute. Before each game she sets a goal to do something better than she did the week before and that seems to be working. Ryann really enjoys getting to play soccer. After each game she has said she can't wait to play again. She asks all week long when her next game is, it's too cute!

The fourth was great! We went to see the fire works in Southlake again. They were beautiful. The kids had a great time. I remembered my camera, but forgot my memory card - so no pictures!

Ryann started gymnastics last week. She loved it. It's great that it is something that both kids can look so forward to. I'm going to take my camera this week and try to get some pictures of her.

I think that pretty much catches everyone up. Friday is Ryann's FIFTH birthday, and she couldn’t be more excited. We're having her party here on Saturday. It's going to be so much fun! All her girl friends will get here at one for a glamour party. The rest of the guest will show up at three for cake, ice cream, gifts and all that other good stuff.

Hope you are all doing great!

Oh, and just a reminder; Ryann's soccer games move to Sunday for the next four weeks.

Rainy days...

Or what seems like MONTHS! Ryann went to spend a few days with her mommy, but will be back tomorrow. Aiden and I have been busy. Yesterday while daddy did some studying Aiden and I went and picked up the last of the party supplies for Ryann's party. Today we went to see Ratatouille. It was pretty cute. Aiden did great. He sat pretty still, only asked to get up twice; and that was to use the potty - so I didn't mind! When the movie ended we headed out, only to discover it was POURING, and I forgot our umbrellas in the car. I stood there for a moment, trying to decide what we should do. I told Aiden that I would hold him and run to the car. He said he wanted to run, so we took our time - got totally soaked, but had the most fun walking to the car. It was a moment that I hope I can hold onto for a very long time. It continued to rain ALL day! I'm so sick of the rain. I want some nice, pretty weather. I want to take the kids to the park, or the pool. Or maybe just out to play in the back yard. Maybe July will be a little less wet than June was - guess we'll have to wait and see.

Couldn't sleep...

So I decided to stay up and work on one of Ryann's birthday gifts. You see, our precious little angel is learning to spell. We add a new word to her vocabulary list everyday. I'm teaching her how to spell by sounding out the word, making life a little easier when she starts learning to read. So far she knows, Ryann Nabors, Mommy, Daddy, Aiden, and Kamri, cat, hat, bat, dog, car, fox, box, cup, car, soccer and grass. I know there is another set of three that she knows, but for the life of me I can't remember what they are right now. Anyways you get the point! Once she learns to spell them out loud she teaches herself how to write them. She didn't have a notebook of her own, so she has since stolen Aiden's art book. We are so very proud of her progress, and eagerness to learn. I thought it would be really cool to alter a spiral just for her, something totally Ryann that she could show off to everyone! Here it is...

I'm totally patting myself on the back here, but isn't it the cutest?!!! I LOVE it, and think she is going to too. The inside is broken down into three sections. I plan to make one of those like a work book. I'm going to print/draw pictures of the words she knows how to spell and leave plenty of room for her to write the word(s) below. It'll be something really neat to keep once she has filled in all the pages, so that she can go back and look at it when she is older. Any who, I guess that's all I've got for now. Off to catch some Z's. Night!

Oops!

I found out today that I wrote our phone number wrong on Ryann's birthday invites... oops! Chances are if you got one, you know our number, (at least one of them) but if not email me or post a comment here and I'll get you the right number. Sometimes I'm a complete idiot, sorry!!!

The Whirly Birds WIN!

Yay!!! Okay, so they don't really keep score; but our girls did score more! Ryann came so close to making a goal twice! Ryann has NEVER played before. She really didn't know what to expect. Adam has taken her out to practice, but she had never played with a team before. She did awesome, and most important she had a great time; and has already said she can't wait for her next game. Shortly after the game started, she understood better what was going on. It was the sweetest thing to watch as her face changed when she knew she did something well, she was proud of herself - and should have been!! Gamma, Papa, and Gammaw came out to support our girl! She was so excited to have them there with her for this first experience. Here are a few pictures of our soccer girl, to see many more check out our photo albums.

First practice...

Daddy took Ryann out for her first practice yesterday. She had a blast! Her favorite part was learning how to hit the ball with her head...

Funny girl!
I think she is ready for her first game. She can't stop talking about it! I uploaded lots of pictures from yesterday, so take a look.

I also changed our banner. What do you think? The kids are growing so fast, it's hard to keep that picture current, but I took that one just yesterday so it should be good for a few months. Aren't they beautiful?!

Happy Father's Day!

Hope all you dads had an awesome Father's Day! The kids, Adam and I went to Texas De Brazil for lunch. Talk about YUM! Then we headed to Papa and Gamma's house. Adam enjoyed most of the day by napping...

Papa opened his gifts from us...

I LOVE when a card I make can get that kind of reaction!
Most of the day was spent visiting and playing with the grandparents. We all had a great day. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Don't forget Ryann's first game is a week away! LOTS of new pictures are up! Enjoy!!
Oh, and just for Jenny - Here is my new hair...

What do you think?

Whirl wind....

Ryann is here for the summer! We are super excited that she'll be home with us pretty much from here, until school starts. She is going to be a very busy little girl this summer. Ryann is signed up and ready to play some soccer! She is on team Whirly Birds, and their first game is next Sunday. I can't even begin to tell you how excited she is! Ryann would love to have some screaming fans in the stands, so if you can please come out and support our little girl. Her games will be every Sunday starting next week and the season will last for eight weeks. She is also going to join Aiden's gym and learn a little about gymnastics. I'm so excited to have two little gymnast running around. With all that and the weekly art classes, we're going to need to paint my truck yellow, and put at taxi sign on the top!

I've been very busy and unable to get pictures up. I'll try to get that done soon. We hope you are all doing great, and enjoying this beautiful summer weather!

Probably...

So yeah, Aiden is getting WAY too big! We're cleaning up my scrap-booking mess in the guest room. He finds an old shoe box, which I'm using to store Ryann's birthday party invites in. I told him, "Don't mess with that. It has Sissy's party cards in it." He says, "No, it proloby has shoes in it." WHAT?! Since when do two year olds use the word probably? New words/ phrases have been popping out of his mouth daily. Its nuts, because we don't think we say those things very often, and yet he is picking up on them. Kids are SO fun! One of his newest and most favorite things to ask, "What are you guys do'n?" Isn't that hilarious???

Aiden is very independent. He is now dressing/undressing himself. He can't do it all, but that doesn't mean he won't try before asking for help. He is also using the potty by himself these days. We are still in diapers most of the time. He was doing SO well, and then a few months back lost all interest in it. Well, the interest is back, and he is doing GREAT! He even will stand at the door, and say "I need privatcy (privacy)" and close the door. Our baby boy is growing up too fast!

A new look...

For me and the house! I cut SEVEN inches off my hair! I LOVE it. It's so easy to fix! I'll try and get some pictures soon, but it's shorter in the back and comes to about mid neck in the front. The front of the house got a "make over" too. Adam and I spent ALL day working in our flower bed. I got rid of five shrubs that I HATED, and planted five new ones. We also got some dwarf mondo grass and dusty millers to line it with. It looks great!

We've been so busy this week. Seems like we haven’t been home except to crawl into bed every night. I did get to keep Dayln Thursday. She is getting so big! She is doing an army crawl all over the place, and pulling herself up on the furniture. I took a ton of pictures, and will try to get them posted soon. I guess that's about it for now. I'll update, when I have something to update you on. Until then, enjoy your weekend!

I'm busy!

So, we were out to lunch today. Aiden walked off and was sitting at a table by himself. I said, "Aiden com here please." And what do I get in return??? "I'm busy" WHAT?! How do you even know what busy is? You're only two years old! Ryann also surprised her mommy by asking for a refill. Again a mommy shocked by a new word. See I told you they are growing too fast!

In my last post I talked about how smart Ryann is getting. She knows all the sounds letters make. Today on our ride to take her back to her mommy (it's about a 45 min drive) we used that to learn how to spell 4 new words. She learned out to spell cat, bat, hat and daddy. I taught how to sound them out and spell them out loud. That took MAYBE 20 minutes. Then I handed her a pen and paper and asked her to write them. She did it with out ANY help! What a little smarty pants!!! I'm pretty sure she is going to be reading before kindergarten is over, she just might be doing a bit of it before school starts!

Any who, we've got a busy weekend of soccer games and photo shoots ahead of us. Hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Pictures are up - start on pg 30 in the May folder ~ enjoy!

Been busy!

Whew, where did the week go?! I can't update you on much, because truth is - I can't remember much! LOL!!!

Ryann has been home for the past week, and it has been WONDERFUL! She really is a joy to be around. She is getting just too smart! We were driving around today, and talking about what letter words begin with. She was asking me and I would tell her, "Car starts with the letter C". Then I switched things up on her. She said something about the water tower, so I ask her what letter water started with. She sat for a minute... I said "Ryann what letter makes the Wh sound?" Another second passes..... Then with total excitement, "W, W says Wh!!!! Is that right?!" I was so proud of her. She knows what sound each letter makes. Just amazing I tell ya! We got her all signed up for soccer today. She'll be playing indoor, and couldn't be more excited! We don't yet know what team she'll be on, but should be finding out very soon. Daddy is VERY excited too!! The season officially starts June 22, so be expecting LOTS of pictures around then. Ryann is going back to her mommy tomorrow, but will be back real soon. We can't wait to have her here for EIGHT weeks starting later this month.

Not much new with Aiden, except have I mentioned how handsome he is? Oh my, I swear; (and I may be just a LITTLE bias) he is the best looking little boy I have ever seen! He is going to be SO jealous when Ryann gets to play soccer, and he is stuck sitting in the stands. Aiden LOVES sports, doesn't matter which one; if it requires a ball or running you can bet he wants to play! He loves to sing, and dance, talk - boy dose he like to talk! He loves coloring, painting, and he is DYING to get into my stamps! He is so much fun right now. I'm not ready for him to grow out of this stage. Speaking of growing, big foot is now in an 81/2 to size 9 shoes!!!!!!!!! Ryann is just now into a 9. We are going to have one big teenager on our hands if he doesn’t slow down! Crazy to think, he really is going to be a teenager one day.

I got some big news via email today! Jennifer Kravitz, (my cousin) is now engaged!!! She and John will tie the not January of next year in San Angelo! We are so happy for you two!! Take care of our girl John!

I've got lots of new pictures, I'll try to get them up tomorrow. Guess that's it for now. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Back home

Adam and I got back from San Antonio last night. We picked up the kiddos from Gamma and Papa's house and headed home. We had a wonderful time, but were happy to be back home with our family. We did a lot of sight seeing, and just enjoyed some much needed time alone.

We're headed to the Ranger game tonight to help Ember celebrate her birthday! It should be a blast - hope the rain holds off till it's over.
Hope you all enjoy your long weekend.
New pictures are up!

Wonderful weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend! Adam, the kids and I had a picnic at the Botanic Gardens. It was a BEAUTIFUL day ~ It was made for spending some quality family time outside. We ate, and then Adam and the kids played soccer. It was a wonderful time!! This was my mother's day, since Ryann was not with us last weekend. I couldn't have thought up a better way to spend my afternoon.

That evening we headed to Denton to watch Ashelynn at her first State comp. She did AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! She will be moving up to level 5 next week. We also found out what a little smarty Miss. Ashelynn is too. She is finishing up the third grade, which means she took the TAKs exam. She scored a 100 on the reading section and a 99 on the math! She is being urged by her teachers to join the math team. She said she is thinking about it. I mean this girl got it all ~ looks, athletic talent, and brains!

Over all she scored a 35.125 out of a possible 40 - she is amazing!
Lots of new pictures up! LOTS of the kids at the gardens and just about all of Ashelynn's meet. The pictures from the meet start on pg22 in the May folder. A lot of them are pretty blurry because I couldn't use a flash, and my battery was just about gone.
Hope you all have a wonderul week!

Grades are in!!!!!!!

And of course Adam made all A's!! I'm not at all surprised, but I am extremely proud!!!! He starts back for the summer session next Tuesday. Only 2 and a half more years to go!

We have Ryann and her little sister, Kamri with us this weekend. It's been a lot of fun. Ryann is getting so big, and if it's possible more beautiful every time I see her. She is a living doll! Aiden is really enjoying having both girls here.

Adam and I are leaving Wednesday for San Antonio. I can hardly wait! Aiden will spend those days at Gamma and Papa's house. I know he is going to have a wonderful time!!

Lots of new pictures up!

Mother's Day weekend...

Sorry these post are so few, and far between. We are staying busy. Adam finished up school last week. We are trying to spend as much time together as possible before he starts back in two weeks. Grades haven't been posted yet, but I know he did fabulous! We're thinking about getting away for a few days next week. Not sure what we'll do with a little bit of time to relax. No kids, work, and school - I can hardly imagine!

Aiden is doing great! Getting SO big!!! It's amazing that he is no longer a baby, or baby like. And he is ALL boy! The day isn't complete if he hasn't thrown, kicked or hit a ball. He is SO funny too. The things that come out of his mouth keep us rolling.

Ryann is SO big! Can you believe she'll be turning FIVE in two months?!!! SHOCKING! Time has flown where these kids are concerned. Why couldn't they stay baby-ish for a little longer? Ryann is ready for school to start. She talks about it all the time. Not much new with her, except she continues to amaze us daily!

We had a wonderful Mother's day weekend. Adam had soccer games all weekend. 12 to be exact. Friday night Aiden and I went to a few. Aiden had a blast. He ran out onto the field twice. The first time he really didn't know that he shouldn't be out there, but the crowd laughed and clapped, so he did it again. Always a performer! Saturday Aiden spent the day with Gamma and Papa. He had a wonderful time! I helped Kay throw out the mounds and mounds of trash at her old house. Sunday Aiden and I went to lunch with Kay and Craig at Texas De Brazil; we ate till we were ready to pop! Then we all had dinner with Gamma and Papa. I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Got lots of goodies! Thank you everyone for making me feel so special. We'll celebrate mother's day with both kids this weekend. We've missed Ryann so much, can't wait for Friday to get here!

Hope you're all doing great!

Nothing New

Life has been rather uneventful lately. Things seem to be moving in slow motion, except Aiden. He has picked up some extra energy some where. I remember when Ryann hit this stage. Aiden will run around in a circle speaking his own language, making funny faces, just being SILLY. He is SO much fun right now. I don't understand the whole terrible two stage. Both Ryann and Aiden were and are SO much fun. I would be happy to keep him like this for a while.

Adam finishes up school on Thursday. He'll be out for two weeks, then it's back for summer school. He is doing great! I'm so proud of him. He keep plenty busy. Work, school, and soccer games on the weekend. Busy, Busy!

I guess that's about it for now. We hope you're all doing wonderful!

What?!!

It's MAY, already?! Where did the time go? Although I must admit, I'm happy - this is my favorite time of year! Lots of time outside, the kids will be so pleased.

Nothing new to report since my last post, except I finally got all of April's pictures up. The new ones start on page 4 of the April folder. You HAVE to check them out! You'll get to see just how amazing Suzette looked at her wedding, and what a wonderful dancer our little ladies man is. He sat and watched Adam and I dance, then took some little girls hand - I think he was trying his hand at West Coast swing... too cute! Lots of cute pictures of our little princess up too. I'll try to keep up better this month.

Hope you're all doing great!

Back Online!

Yay!!! Ug, that was the hardest week ever! I didn't realize just how much we rely on the computer. I had pictures I needed to get edited and back to a client. Plus just our day to day stuff... After being forced to buy a new computer we also had to get Adam FOUR new tires for his car. Discover is loving us this month!

Ryann has been home since Friday. She is getting too big! She can now right just about anything if you spell if for her. She still won't try my name, says it's too long, but she is doing great. She can right a few words w/ out any assistant. She has been able to write Ryann and Mommy for some time now. She can also write the word FOX, and her sister's name Kamri. I think she just about has Daddy down too. Aiden is pretty easy for her as well- just getting too big! Aiden has learned to write the letter A. They both blow us away daily!

Aiden has started an art class, and really seems to be loving it! They do some really fun crafts. He is doing wonderful at gymnastics. Last week his coach said if he were a few months older she would recommend he be moved to the next level, but since he is only 14 months they can't move him for safety issues. He really impressed me. Ashelynn may not be the only gymnast in the family!

School is just about over for Adam. Then it's on to summer school. He is doing great, but really; did anyone think he wouldn't?? Not me!

Life for me is full of choices right now. I'm trying to decided if I really want to open a studio.... I LOVE being a photographer, but the idea scares me. It would mean lots of hours at the studio, that means time away from my family. I'm just beginning to wonder if it really means that much to me. Plus the huge fear of failing... I'm getting more and more curious about going to school to be a dental assistant. No matter what I decided, I plan on going back to school once Adam is finished. I'm thinking about going back to work until then. So, with all that said, please keep me in your prayers, I really need to make the right decision for me and our family.

Hope you're all doing great! I'll try to get pictures up soon.

Where Have We Been?

Ummm, well our computer has passed on. So, right now we don't have one. I know it's very sad. We've been super busy!! Last Saturday we attended Suzette's wedding. It was BEAUTIFUL! She looked absolutely AMAZING!!! We are so happy for her!!! Aiden had a wonderful time at the reception, I've never seen a kid who loves to dance so much! I'll be sure and upload the pictures when we get a new computer.

Other than that I guess I don't have much to update you on. Ryann will be here this weekend, and we can't wait! Aiden told us last night, "I wanna see Sissy, where is Melny (Melony- Ryann's mommy)" It was very VERY sweet. They are growing too fast!

I guess that's it for now. If you all wouldn't mind sending me your mailing addresses (again). Those were all on the computer....

Hope you're doing great!
Lots of love!!!!

Happy Easter!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful day! We sure did!! Ryann was with her mommy today, so we did most of our Easter celebrating last weekend. Adam, Aiden and I did go to church and lunch with Gamma and Papa. Aiden got to do his forth egg hunt, and participate in the church service. He did SO great! After lunch we just hung out at Gamma and Papa's house. A lazy day really, well except for the grandparents. Aiden didn't give them much time to sit and rest. New pictures up in the Easter folder and April folder.

Hope you all had a blessed day!

We've got a new look

And I would LOVE to hear what you think about it! I worked VERY hard on this, and would love any input. I HATE working with HTML, so if I've done something terribly wrong PLEASE let me know! If not, I would love to hear you singing my praises... or just a good pat on the back will do. Thanks for your help Ember!

What does Child proof really mean?!

Because I can tell you it doesn't mean that your child can't open it! Yesterday Aiden opened a bottle that had a child proof top on it; I really thought I probably just didn't put the top on right or something. Well, seems that wasn't the case at all! Last night he (Aiden) woke up with a headache, so Adam got out some medicine for him. We left the bottle sitting on our night stand.... I just looked over and Aiden was pulling the cotton out of the bottle. Now I know we shouldn't have left the bottle sitting there - dumb on our part, I get that. But come on! It has a child "proof" top. Needless to say, all our child "proof" bottles will be moved out of the little guys reach! I don't know to be proud of him for figuring this out, or panic; because it could lead to potential danger!!! God help us!

Amazing...

Aiden and I were out running errands earlier. We passed a rather large house. Aiden says, "Look Mommy, tat amaz'n house!" I was floored! I knew he knew the word amazing, but I had no clue he really understood what it meant. He is just too big!

Another week gone by....

And still no post?! Ha! Life is good, which means it is also BUSY!!! Last week seems like a million years ago, and I can't remember a thing. SO, we'll just skip to the weekend. We picked up Ryann Thursday afternoon. You guys would not believe how grown she is! Sometimes it's like talking to a mini 14 year old. She keeps us rolling with the things she says! Her counter part, little brother is much the same. I swear to you, he is the funniest kid! From what I remember about Pop, Adam's grandpa; I think Aiden has his sense of humor - it seems to come very natural to him. He is just too funny :)

So, we picked Ryann up Thursday and had a wonderful time talking about all the fun things she has been up to. She is now a BIG girl, and can swing all by herself - meaning she no longer needs an adult to push her! Friday was Daddy's day off, so we hung out at home, we tried to take the kids to see Meet the Robinson's in 3D, but we had some AWFUL rain and the lights went out, so they sent us home. Ryann will be with her Mommy this weekend for Easter. The Easter bunny must have known, because when we woke up Saturday morning Ryann and Aiden each had a basket full of goodies waiting. We had an egg hunt, (inside because of all that rain) then headed back to the theater. It was a really cute movie. Aiden did really great; he even kept his glasses on for the WHOLE movie! Sunday the kids got all dressed for Easter and we headed to Papa and Gamma's house where more Easter goodies and an egg hunt were ready and waiting.

It was another great weekend, that we were sad to watch pass so quickly. We can't wait for next weekend when Ryann will be back, but until then we hope she has a great time with her mommy.

I have been hard at work getting pictures uploaded. You wouldn't believe how many pictures we have! I just need to get the rest of 2004 and 2005 up and then we'll be all caught up! Take a look; you'll be amazed at how much these kids have grown is such a short amount of time! All the pictures are up from this weekend too.

Take care, and have a wonderful week!!!
